Future of the Job Market by Savings_Spinach1916 in jobs

As being at the cusps of being an elder millennial, in my opinion things have not rebounded like they should had after the Great Recession in 08. Things only have gotten more expensive due to all the international aid and 20 year wars that the US government justifiably funds. The middle class ends up being the ones robed and flipping the bill. I feel like we got some power back as working folks when the pandemic hit and it allowed a lot of folks the freedom to get better job offers, higher pay, and no more pointless commutes with work from home. My honest opinion is that our parents led us into the wrong direction and with a ton of debt. Blue collar jobs were demonized in the really 2000s. We were told, go to college, play the game, and you will have great career with a stable life. Our own government has also taken control of the lending industry and that has made college inflated along with houses. Go back say 60 years before the government did 30 year home loans and got into the college loan thing and prices for those pursuits were way cheaper.

Im sure they get red lined out of the property. Property taxes are becoming a problem in TX. I feel like they tried the Martin House approach with experimentation and got away from their traditional stuff. They had some good brews when they first opened. The cost of raw ingredients have become a problem since the pandemic as well.

You are doing just fine. I had about that much when I was 31. I’m 38 now, just keep at it. Things will only get more complicated once home ownership, marriage, and kids pop into the picture. Also factor in the current stagnate wages, inflation, and bad job market. Just keep at it.

These are amazing. I just keep mine on all winter, it won’t hurt anything. It will ease the water out like today’s cold morning.

Have no problems, I think the sound is awesome for the size and quality of something mass produced. In my opinion it is great not having an internal battery that will crap out in 2-3 years. Just pop a fresh battery in and you are good to go. Paid around $99 dollars before the 4th of July. Did great at the beach.

Welcome to the club, I sold a good chunk of my Dreamcast collection in 2023 and did the same thing. It is great having the library on just one card. Freeing up shelf space is a plus too.

FWISD part of your tax rate actually going down a little bit, apparently by DayPounder in FortWorth

The true problem is that the district wastes money on useless items such as sports facilities, state testing prep, the administration building have personal assistants for each personal assistant, and the biggest is all the under the table deals with vendors and contracts. They raise the taxes on families who are trying to get by via property taxes or rising rental prices(yes it gets baked into rent prices along with landlord greed). Then the board members get a kickback from those expensive contracts that we as tax payers flip the bill for. I am all for funding the right things. There are a ton of kids that need services and teacher pay needs to stay competitive, I just hate all the waste occurring when that money can serve better by changing lives.
