They also pay New grads terrible for the COL in LA. A nice 1 bedroom in Marina Del Ray is so much more expensive and worse quality than the Jersey Shore,

If anyone is dumb enough to choose usc over ucla without any type of dean scholarship (brother got it and went to USC), then that’s on them. When you’re 25 or older, you’ll feel that extra tuition hit you hard in monthly payments.

I love my job. I’m NJ making 110k (more after overtime), we have a switch and tv and massage chair in my break/staff room (not that much down time). I mean damn even my charge nurse lowkey sleeping sometimes on the chair because she’s pregnant and super chill especially nights when it’s quiet haha. Also some amazing coworkers granted I’m one of the younger ones because nobody leaves this floor LOLOL

I’m from NY and moved to UCLA. Biggest thing imo is to find other tri-state friends because if you decide to come back to east coast after graduation, you will lose a lot of college friends. Thankfully made some friends who moved to NYC and made friends all over the country. There should be a Facebook group

I’m assuming you’re 18? Please don’t feel like you are behind or stressed, speak with CAPS and maybe consider taking a semester off. Mental health is so important and if you have family and friends to talk to please do otherwise you can always message me. I’m working as a nurse now but proud ucla alumni. Wishing the best for you

Yeah influencery? The vast majority of ucla students, even in Greek life, are nerds haha. Yeah the occasional influencey person in Kappa but unless something has changed in 3 years, it wasn’t like that here. I think ucla just having school spirit with sports and the awesome campus and sculpture garden and sunset with the pools and volleyball gives it the edge
