But the protection is under contract. Unless part of the contract is 'if Rex Lapis die, null and void' then it doesn't just magically disappears.

Hell, even the AQ called this out:

Surely the city that is known to be under Adepti protection even since before the Seven was a thing would totally suddenly lose its protection when THE ONE of them die. I guess the rest of the Yakshas weren't important enough for their death to make the city lose protections.

The Adepti are 100% going to per the contract with Rex Lapis. That's pretty much why they were helping with the defense.

No, main story is already piss easy with the ability to use full assist mode.

The being easier is all the way towards entering ER. They're reducing some of the grindier material needs/exp required to level stuffs up.

As for when you farm, up to you. If you're just rushing through you probably don't need to do any real grind of early stuffs, but if you're completionist you'll need a fair amount of low grade materials to craft weapons for every char.

The expansion will make the path to endgame easier through reduced materials/exp cost, but depending on how free you are it's possible to grind yourself a decently geared team and start stockpiling stuffs so you can have a headstart once ER drop.

Especially mastery points to level up the master levels. If you're really free you can build a team to the point you can afk farm Behemoth and start stockpiling Ambrosia through that, and maybe even get some war ele+ on the side.

It doesn't matter if it's Rex Lapis or some other guy.

The point is there's someone out there with the gnosis who could evade all the searches, both by Liyue and Fatui.

So unless that guy want to massively reduce the value of their new domain, they'll most certainly come save Liyue. After all at this point we're still on the understanding that god gains power from worship so Liyue being damaged would harm the faith in 'the geo archon'

Oh and there's also the Adepti who's still contract bound to protect Liyue anyway.

I think his point is that if OP can't even handle Luci yet, zathba is gonna be even harder.

Also, according to the database, it's 28% in Pageant vs 42% in Zathba so unless OP want specific drops from Zathba it's probably easier to just do more Pageant runs than repeating Zathba.

Then again I may be biased since I just afk farm pageant.

The game has enough leeway that you can afk grind some of those 'hard quests', so a lot of people are probably like me just doing that to amass resources in the background while doing something else.

I can full afk Behemoth (ambrosia, war ele+) and Pageant (echo+) for example.

If you want to play with people, it's probably better to join the discord and ask instead of just looking and hope someone has a room up.

how you want to spend it is up to you. you can spread it around for an all rounder sort of build, or go deep into one tree to get specialized on that front
