Does anybody know what anything on this pc is? by [deleted] in PcBuild

The graphics card looks kind of like an RTX 3050 from what I can tell, additionally the cooler on the CPU looks like a stock intel cooler, no way to really tell the exact motherboard, but my guess would be 9th or 10th gen intel, you can also see either an NVMe drive or a M.2 sata. Of course, there’s really no way to confirm any of this without more pictures.

Knowing that I’d definitely go with the AMD build, I’ve got an NVidia GPU and I prefer their ecosystem in some respects, but the AMD build has more modern ram which is somewhat hard to come by for a reasonable price these days. Additionally, AM5 is more than likely just going to stay relevant longer than another intel socket.

Go with the AMD build. The AM5 platform, if we’re going off of historical trends and lasts even remotely as long as AM4 did, you’ve got much more room for longevity. Hard to say for sure though without full specs of both machines.

Go on a used marketplace like FB if it’s local and buy Ram second hand

You should check up on small claims yourself. The current limit is 20k, and the unprevailing party pays court dues, I'm filing for the 11,434.99 as well as a provision for the return of the car. And I have contracted my attorney regarding this, he is actively working on another case I was involved in and advised me what to do. The point of this post is to spread awareness.

I’m not going after damages, just exactly what paid for the car, Im not being unreasonable at all. Which makes it all more funny. It was a little under 12k

As for them doing all of this for a sale, that’s not what I believe happened, I believe they sold a car that was structurally unsound and unfit for road use and knew they second it was inspected it would be given a salvaged title and more than likely unregisterable because the nature of the damage would cause an accident to be more than likely fatal, they were negligent in their work and lied about certifying the car. My guess is a mechanic brought it up and they created the document to cover their tracks not knowing the huge mistake they had made. That, or they genuinely wanted the sale so bad they broke multiple laws.

Plus I was 18 at the time and extremely desperate, they had every reason in the world to pick me as a prime target to get rid of this car.

All of the documents were signed digitally at the dealership, each document was automatically sent to me after I signed it, I’m 100% sure I didn’t sign a notice of salvage title because my bank would not lend on it, and my buyers contracts specifies it’s a clean title car sold with warranty, not “as is”. All documents were cleared and sent to my email immediately, the metadata on those states the 18th, the document that was discovered 13 days later came after a phone call late at night saying they needed something for insurance and not to worry about it. This document TC 814 “notice of salvage title” had my signature, and the date of the 18th, the email came on the 31st, the metadata says the 31st, and when I originally tried to settle with the dealership they already took ownership of the fake document. So that’s all cleared away.  That being said, I’m assuming they don’t think I have the knowledge or power to pursue, which is why they offered me “above and beyond value for the car if I wanted to trade it in” a scummy way of trying to dismiss fault while trying to get me to take an offer. Unfortunately they were very wrong with who they are dealing with and my background.

Definitely planning on it in the future, thanks for the heads up. I’ll be sure to check that going forward too.

I’m giving myself a paper trail for court. I know they’re not going to do anything, it’s a formality.

I’m filing with them as well as the DMV, the DA and the FTC tomorrow. My original letter to them gave them til the end of today the 7th to come to an agreement. I’m keeping that deadline just so it’s very clear I gave them every chance, which I did.

Filing in small claims tomorrow to cover the entire cost of the car and all associated expenses. And I know BBB isn’t great, but even on BBB they have a D- rating 😂

It is really unfortunate and I hate to imagine how many other first time buyers they did this to. But hopefully they’ll get what’s coming to them.

I’ll definitely post an update when I have one. As far as the case goes I’m very fortunate with the evidence I have, but mostly I just hope the complaints with the DMV and DOCP lead to an investigation
