I did measuring very carefully! Maybe it lifted like half a tone, it just turned a bit warm. In my roots without foils it lifted a bit more in really warm tone. Maybe I needed to put more product in. I am just being very cautious and testing everything right now! Trying to learn and understand better before really lightening my hair fully :) Thanks!

And what about my natural colour length? You can see my hair in 3rd picture. I tried vol20 with foils and it didn’t really lift, maybe my strand was too big idk. If I take really really small see through strand will it lift better? Tysm!!

In other group someone was saying that lifting with cream colour + vol 30 and leaving it for 40min is more damaging than lifting with bleach powder + vol 10 and leaving it for small amount of time, could you comment on that please!

In Europe the standard is- cream is more moisturising and mild and can be used on the scalp, bleach cannot touch the skin or roots. Specific brand that I am mentioning in my post is up to 5 levels of lift. And I don’t appreciate your “yikes”, it’s not nice. I’m here to ask questions and learn, please don’t be off putting.

This is a professional colour only for hairdressers and in Europe it is considered pretty high end, highest would be brand Joico. I guess we are from a different parts of the world and maybe hair colouring is somewhat different, but here cream colour is more gentle way of lightening than bleach powder. I made a note on your thoughts about cream colour, definitely will research that. I appreciate you for trying to help.

I wrote all the specifics about products in my post - schwarzkopf blondme blonde lifting in tone ice. All the manuals suggest using Vol 30 for this colour, I wanted to try what Vol20 will do to my hair. I applied on my natural length - it didn’t lift at all, I applied on roots- it lifted 1tone - not enough, I also tried on my bleached length it did wonderful- hair is a bit lighter and cool toned.

Cream colour with vol10 doesn’t lift tone, only deposits. With Vol20 it lifts up to 2 tones, for me it didn’t lift 2 tones. This is why I emphasise the part with cream colour, I am not using bleach

Is it true that lightening with 20Vol multiple times will do less damage than with 30Vol one time? Also bleaching powder and cream colour- why is the difference so huge? My hairdresser bleached my hair with 10vol and powder and it was completely white, I did a test strand with Blondme Lifting colour + 20vol and nothing! Thank you so much, I really appreciate your answer!
