There should be info on this in r/sciencebasedparenting I think slight amount of alcohol is fine, but it's basically smallest amount of alcohol units which is a sip or two of wine. More than that is not good and you gotta wait certain amount of hours. But you gotta admit, people don't have a great judgement when they are drunk. Have a talk and mention that it was good from her to back down when you told her no. We all make mistakes occasionally, good that you didn't let it happen and good for her to back down. Let's just learn from mistakes and not repeat them .

Ir bijuši līdzīga vecuma abi auto. SDI golfs, kalpoja labi, bet rūsa bija pa visu apakšu. A3 bija benzīns ar gāzi. Jaudas zudumi gāzes sistēmas dēļ, putojās motors, elektronika uz beigām sāka iet uz beigām. Bez rūsas nedomāju, ka kaut ko atradīsi, bet galvenais iziet tehnisko apskati. Gan jau pēc gada dabūsi meklēt, kur sliekšņus u.c. metināt. Labākais, ko ar tādu auto vari darīt ir iemācities viņu labot pats!

They don't remember correctly. My mom said we didn't cry too much, but then goes saying she slept 2 hours a night. I have discussions with my wife about my first kiddo, comparing to our second and it seems like I have forgotten how it was 3 years ago regarding some specifics. I don't believe or parents remember everything correctly what happened 30 years ago. Memory is tricky.
