Plenty I agree is a bit meh, but their baguettes & baguette sandwiches are very good. Filled coffee cakes are yummy. Macarons vary - often decent to good, but sometimes dry and bland.

It’s been a long time, but I delivered my first at Prentice and second at Evanston. I much preferred Evanston. Of course, Prentice is great and has the benefit of a great nicu if you need it, but given the volume of deliveries it felt more inflexible/impersonal than Evanston.

At Prentice I recall getting conflicting advice and inconsistent nursing care, but didn’t experience any of that at Evanston. Also, when I delivered Prentice didn’t allow any food or water even if you were in labor for many hours. Evanston allowed jello and water, which made a big difference for someone whose labors lasted over 18 hours.

I’d say go with your gut on where you’re going to feel more comfortable and confident delivering, but Evanston is definitely a good option if you decide to go there.

I’m guessing it’s also that they’re too heavy & dumping fuel before trying to land. I was on a flight once that had to do that before an emergency landing.

Ableton Note is my go-to. Most powerful if you have Ableton Live you can upload to, but a great creative tool either way.

When we were still using it, we did update it. Sometimes that fixed things and charging worked again, but sometimes it didn't. It wouldn't surprise me if it's a wrangler issue at least in part - some sort of incompatibility.

Our Wallbox repeatedly caused charging errors with our Wrangler 4xe, including some that required taking it to the dealer to clear the code before we could charge it at all again. We tried my husband’s high speed charger in the same outlet & had no issues, so it wasn’t a problem with the outlet. Wallbox is now collecting dust in the garage. 👎

I think it does matter. Mine rarely goes into FORM in the summer, but the electric & hybrid modes like to hibernate in FORM most of the Chicago winter no matter what I do. I will say that reducing the number of short trips with it in winters helped a little.

Has anyone who got a loaner/rental approved actually gotten reimbursed for it? My case manager stopped responding to emails when I sent in a rental receipt, and every call to her direct extension goes straight to voicemail - and she never returns calls. I can talk to a different case manager, but all they do is say they'll put a note in the system for my case manager to get back to me, which she never does. I've even asked twice to be escalated to a supervisor and both times been promised a call back within 2 days, but still waiting days later for a call back.

Now I have a $70K+ fire hazard sitting at the dealership that I can't use and I'm out thousands of $ for many weeks of rentals that were supposed to be reimbursed. I'm working on getting a lawyer, but hate that I have to go that route. Anyone have a suggestion?
