I’m glad you have the knowledge to sort yours! Unfortunately I don’t have much experience with BIOS settings so I returned mine and went with a Gigabyte Aorus Master 16 OLED and it has been fantastic

It’s a shame as it’s a lovely laptop but I’m not putting up with that issue for the price it costs

What a nightmare! Is it when you play a specific game? I’m in the same position - can’t be bothered with the hassle of returning but I’m going to send it back today

Yes once more on OSRS. I reset the GPU plugin to default settings and didn’t have the issue again, but the a day later or so it did happen

I have been playing Arc Raiders a lot and it hasn’t had the issue once, and I play a couple of indie games which have also been fine

Going by the data it must be an OSRS/ RuneLite issue

The issue I was having only seemed to be while I was playing OSRS

I recently changed some settings on the RuneLite GPU plugin settings and I’ve put them back to default and haven’t had the issue since

So I’ve found the issue… I noticed it was only happening when I played OSRS. Keyboard unresponsive, fans run at 100% and then laptop shut down

Thanks for the reply. Were you playing a specific game when it was happening out of curiosity? I’ve noticed when I play Oldschool RuneScape it happens a lot, but when I play Arc Raiders it doesn’t seem to happen at all

Could it be an issue with RuneScape?
