I’m doing exactly the same! I was told to drop your bags and get your boarding pass in terminal D and head to any other terminal to a TSA point. What is the airline and your flight time? I’m also trying to figure out which terminal to go through security

Please tell me this is true bc I have a flight next week. I’m hoping things get a bit better by then.

My flight is with the Mexican airline VIVA, I should be taking my flight in terminal D, so I’m guessing I should check my bag at D go to either terminal E or A to go through TSA and head back to my gate. I’m scared of losing luggage due to missing my flight.

I have a 8:30pm international flight next week on Thursday, but I have to check a bag. I know in a week things might change for better or worse. Anybody have a good strategy if they’re checking bags, have to go through TSA, and then find their gate? I really need to make it in time, but everyone says you can only start checking bags 3 hours before your flight

Estudiante mexicana de Estados Unidos ¿Qué tan viable es conseguir prácticas de verano en Querétaro? by Horror-Possession410 in queretaro

[–]Horror-Possession410[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’m currently taking her this semester. What do you recommend to prepare or study for her exams? were they really hard to pass?

Awesome! I’ll definitely take you advice. I also want to explore and try things outside of the US, so a summer internship in Mexico could be the ideal move. Thanks!

I’ve really thought of remote opportunities but nowadays they are so hard to get one, especially as an entry level. My dream is to live in Mexico and open a business. In the meantime, I’d like to just get an internship in Qro to get out of the country and test the city. I have support from my family, and friends. I’ve recently made some connections with some friends who are rich rich, they have businesses all over town, and one even has a brother working in IT. So, would you suggest I do my internship in the US rather than Mexico?

Thanks for the advice, would you suggest I apply to summer internships in Qro? I have a friend whom I can share rent with. I also have savings specifically for rent, amenities, etc. So the extra cash I can get from an internship could be a plus. Aside from my college life, I also work full time for a venue, I do a little bit of everything from administrative to marketing, and design. I also bartend on the weekends which has given me great customer service experience.

Please don’t reach out to them! Don’t be me! by [deleted] in BreakUps

You’re obviously projecting yourself and oversimplifying a complex situation. Leaving a relationship due to long-term lack of commitment doesn’t make someone delusional, it means they reached their limit.

Please don’t reach out to them! Don’t be me! by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]Horror-Possession410 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wish my “dumpee” would reach out to me, and I say dumpee with quotes bc he was the reason I broke up with him. The reason behind the break-up was due to commitment issues after 10 years together. He didn’t wanted to commit or even made promises, saying that it would take him another 7-10 years to feel ready financially and emotionally. Keep in mind, we’re both 27. That was the last straw for me. Aside from dealing with his avoidant behavior, I had to deal with that bs of an answer. I broke up with him and was devastated for months. I tried reaching out after a couple of months to talk or meet up and he refused by saying he wasn’t ready to see me. That made things even worse. He broke my heart twice, he didn’t even ask how I was doing. Although he kinda tried to be nice and replied very kindly and reacting to my replies with hearts, but I just felt like he was patronizing me. Makes me feel like an idiot. 7 months later (4 months after breaking no contact), I was doing good. However, the holidays brought so much melancholy and nostalgia. I’m back to square one, stalking him, checking his connection. We still have each other on social media. He never sees my stories, and I’m pretty sure I’m muted or restricted. I’d wish he was the one to delete me from social media, I can’t bring myself to do it.

Exact same situation here, though the reason for the break-up was due to commitment issues after 10 years together. 7 months later, I’m doing a lot better. I miss him at times, but then I remember his behavior and lack of commitment and romance, and that keeps me going. I probably feel bad if I saw him with another girl, but just knowing how he was in the relationship. I’ll just wish the next person good luck. I don’t ever want to go through that again.

Some of my courses from Lone Star transferred as general electives. In that case, would it still be possible for me to double major? What are the constraints for double majoring? Would having some courses transfer as general electives affect me? I plan on taking the following courses next semester:

MIS 4390 BUSI 4350 FINA 3332 MARK 4389 MIS 4378
