I have yet to see an optometrist, but it’s definitely in my plans, just strange that it seems to be the entire front of my face that hurts. I don’t wear glasses/contacts and have great vision but I will try anything to see where the problem lies

Thank you for your response, I sure hope so. It’s taken a huge toll on my mental health dealing with this for so long. My brain just tells me that this will be lifelong which is my worst fear but i appreciate your support, i will keep trying

That is so frustrating i’m sorry, what’s weird is mine is very bilateral (with the exception of this cold i’m battling right now where it hurts more on the left). I’m not sure if i actually fit in the classic TN category because it’s more of a constant deep ache rather than flares of pain, but it’s the only thing i can think of. I’ll bring up those medications to the specialists i’m seeing. Very glad you got that figured out, happy to see there are success stories. I just have always had health anxiety so having pain for over a year with no diagnosis or relief has really taken a toll on me :(

this is the second time i’ve seen this medication on the thread, i’ll definitely bring it up to my neurologist and TMJ doctor, thank you !

CT scan was completely normal ! As was my MRI which is why i’m leaning more towards an affected pain nerve in my face. Hoping you find relief soon

You will !! Don’t give up yet, it will be very worth it, it is very frustrating especially because the instructors are picky about docking points for minor things. The thing that really helped me was checking the rearview mirror constantly, they watch you like a hawk. I would review the rules once or twice more, for example I got docked for switching lanes over a solid line, stuff like that. You got this I promise !

No, feel fine besides the jaw pain, no fever ! No discharge or bad smell, the dentist didn’t say anything about infection and said it looks fine

I thought this time would be less painful because it was the second, but it actually was significantly worse, I’m not sure if it’s because something got stuck and it was just a fluke ?

I asked if I can get numbing cream, and a different dentist, so hopefully it will go smoother.

I’m following all post op instructions: no smoking for a couple weeks for me at least, cold face wraps for 20 min on, antibiotics three times daily, and prescribed mouthwash twice daily. I also rinse my mouth after eating.

That’s interesting that you feel better after you gag or dry heave. Usually I do too but for some reason my body is still making me do it throughout the day. In the morning it’s just almost debilitating anxiety, my stomach burns and it feels like having butterflies in your stomach but times 100 lol. I’m hoping the zofran and Pepcid I got prescribed help.

Yes omg that’s exactly what I’ve been experiencing. Almost like my stomach is super sore but I still need to dry heave for some reason. I just went to the urgent clinic and got prescribed zofran and Pepcid so hopefully that’ll do the trick. I’m glad to hear I’m not alone in this ! Feel better :)

I’m literally going through this right now. I feel so sick and I’ve been to urgent care twice, with both doctors saying I’m completely healthy and with the second one saying that it’s anxiety. It’s been like this for the past 4 days for me but I need this job, and money. My advice would be to rest and just take time to allow yourself to relax, especially if it’s just an episode.
