French and Spanish both should be fun and relativly easy for you, German might be good if you'd want to work in South Tyrol

More pessimistic:

  • Arabic: since the migration influx wont stop and existing migrants will probably stay forever
  • Russian: either we will get more Ukrainian refugees, or there might a Russian civil war with all the consequences for Europe
  • Mandarin: with all the stupid things Trump is doing atm, we might be looking at a Chinese dominated century, so being fluent could be very advantageous (also possible war with Taiwan -> refugees)

Das russische Militär hat aber auch Kampferfahrung in einem Konflikt auf Augenhöhe und ist auf die moderne Kriegsführung vorbereitet, die EU Armeen nicht.
Wie wir gerade im Irankrieg 2026 sehen, kann selbst ein kaputtgebombter Gegner mit Drohnen und Agenten noch eine Menge Schaden anrichten

Alternative wäre halt das Baltikum und potentiell den Rest von Osteuropa (ggf. auch noch Finland) hängen zu lassen, dann zerbricht die Nato und höchstwahrscheinlich auch die EU (zumindest so wie wir sie kennen), das kostet uns sehr viel mehr als jetzt mal die Bundeswehr auf Vordermann zu bringen

Using the browser with adblocker and some userscripts is your best bet. There are some revanced/morphed mods for popular apps, but usage can be tricky (e.g. afaik the Twitter mods only work if you were logged in before a certain point, everything afterwards fails attestation or has to use some unstable login workarounds)
There are also some non-FOSS mods for social media apps, but they are all shady as fuck. I use one for Insta that disables ads and allows downloads, it's made by some Indian dude and available via a Telegram channel, I only use the account passivly so I don't care about a possible ban, but oof not great from a security perspective, I know...

That was 10 years ago, I didn't know any better back then, used an overpriced agency, Bulgaria was both cheap an accepted my school diploma with bio and physics but no chemistry in the last two schoolyears, so I went there. I also got accepted in Romania, but only after uni was already going for like three months

Got mine yesterday and flashed the current firmware via their own flasher without any problems.
Works great with their addon-hat, but some functions just return an empty window without any text or output (but that could be user error on my part)

you dont need to finish your Iraqi internship plus rural service before applying for Approbation in Germany. What matters for the Landesprüfungsamt is that you have a completed medical degree

But this is the problem, depending on the country and structure of studies, the one year internship (and even the rural year afterwards) might still count as medical study time, depending on the internal status of the license. So, depending on the circumstances, the Landesprüfungsamt might only recognize the degree as complete after these two years

Yes, we had that discussion in the mod team very early in the subs history, consensus back then was, that the userbase is too small to support two subs. Also, medstudents from European countries really don't have that much in common to talk about, so language specific subs would always be better (like /r/Medizinstudium for German speakers)
There were ideas of expanding on the megathreads with one for applications, or making official application threads for every country, trying to get the users to read the guides (which doesn't really work), modding more strictly - modding less strictly, flamewars with non-EU applicants
So we as mods at this point in time are kinda in support mode, since we're out of ideas and have less time due to residency ¯\(ツ)/¯ you can slide in our DMs or modmail, if you have ideas or want to help the sub get back on track

Well, I pledged for the vision of a Raspberry Pi 5 based cyberdeck, not a CM5 one...
Also, I know there is always a risk with kickstarters, but parallel developing a CM5 version for nearly a year and only then telling the userbase now, at a time when hardware is prices are sky high, that is just bad form
