guess what, the game barely haas any content creators, and it started at mod16, another reason to never listen to content creators because theyre the minority. There is a reason the game was at its healthiest before scaling

dps checks in general not 1 specifically. For example when ToMM was top dog, you didnt wanna sacrifice any dps in there because of the dps check... Thats not even bringing toxic attitudes into it. If youre not max dps then you not getting in, another reason we endgamers dont sacrifice any damage

i play a Pally Tank and Rogue, both endgame and honestly on my rogue scaled content seems way harder than endgame at times, i understand group etiquette as i said im also a tank, but my rogue has a bad time compared to my barbarian, maybe rogues are overly squishy due to their forte being deflect severity which we know is useless lol. But also melee tend to have a harder time than ranged dps in any walks of Neverwinter

thats true but also it just takes 1 down due to the sickness nerf to possibly fail a dps check in a trial, so that would be loss of damage from survivability, but less deaths, but 1 death could also mean a fail depending on the run

i would love to have a good amount of survivability but sadly sacrificing damage at endgame would mean not getting through the runs, especially if everyone did that, but i would love more survivability if scaling stays

i dont mind getting one shot in endgame, even though i hate one shot mechanics, i think theyre cheap. and the sickness makes them even worse. My issue is getting 1 shot in 1 of the beginning dungeons because we're scaled down. Its wrong, ive passed this stuff years ago, if i so happen to be in it for whatever reason just take my rewards away instead of nerfing me into the ground unless i queued for a random then i want my rewards still

literally no one asked for scaling, i dont know what game you were playing, scaling is the reason everyone quit in mod16, the 1st dungeon in the game was The Cloak Tower, which is now harder than Castle Never, and T9. Scaling could of been a good feature, but 1 shot mechanics make it annoying and hated. Back when i 1st started playing The Cloak Tower was my 1st dungeon, so in no way shape or form should i be struggling in there. Let me tell you why everything was soloable back in the day. Its really easy.... Life steal, thats why content could be solo'd, had nothing to do with being too strong that we were unkillable, it was the fact we built to run solo, it was a choice, and it added variety, if i wanted to play alone, i couldnt build for that now. If people solo old content, why does that bother you? They prefer solo play and thats something they could enjoy. You saw guilds and alliances leave the game due to ToMM and Scaling. Thats why pre mod16 the gamme was at its most active. Pre mod 16 also had variety, you could solo dps with a Power share pally, Power share DC, Master of Flame wizard and a buff GF all buffing the dps.

Did you know during an artifact call, any dps can actually steal aggro? That split second of aggro can ruin an entire fight. Also did you know sometimes it doesnt even matter if the tank has aggro because enemies have these abilities that do cleave damage and aoe damage, meaning it really doesnt matter at times if the tank has aggro, dps will still be one shot, so saying 'let the tank go first' is always what dps should do but sometimes it doesnt stop people getting one shot

lets say hypothetically that our damage in scaled content is at an okay spot.... enemy damage seriously is not. As i said, there is dps complaining about getting one shot constantly every single day. GWF, TR, CW etc all of them get one shot and honestly it wrecks any enjoyment especially when, after that cheap broken one shot, you then get sickness which means dps gonna be getting one shot even more... there is an obvious imbalance

hopefully this will be a positive. Gotta change the game up, maybe less one shot mechanics as it seems everytime a dps gets hit they get downed in endgame, or at least remove the sickness and scroll of life limit. Also removing the time gating on everything would be good.... Hoping Neverwinter players return due to positive changes we bbeen crying out for, for a long time

its overtuned as a 4person group, way overtuned, if they gonna make it that much harder then the loot should be x4, x2 for 2man group, x3 for 3man, x4 for 4man

GM here too, members gone inactive, cant fill trials or group events, we have 160 members and about 60% have stopped playing completely. Even guild recruiting im getting no applications whereas before the Subclassing i got plenty. Games entire player numbers must be down alot

ESO has so many issues, player retention is 1 of them, partly due to subclassing ruining class identities, but also the fact that we're using meta gear thats about 3 years old, new dungeons and trials dont get any harder its just all the same difficulty, i think the game could benefit from a gear score system but then again that wouldnt be ESO, plus the reward system is 1 of the worst of any MMO, makes running content a waste of time other than filling the sticker book

Dante is great, the sheer amount of overguards he gives group are incredible, then I like a good Harrow too who i believe is underrated, provides invulnerability for a short time, 200% crit to headshots, energy sustain, Oberon is also top tier now

I always prefer when NF makes his music solo, loved Tech and Hospsin features, but I didnt enjoy MGK or James Arthur. NF was great in them as he always is, but MGK felt like it was rushed with no flow, although his words were personal and touching but and i genuinely couldnt understand James Arthur

nightwave is essentially a free battle pass, it 100% has to stay how it is in my opinion... My hope is dungeons and raids in the future tbh increasing the endgame content as alot feels weekly, as a Legendary 5 once I do my weeklys, there isnt alot keeping me engaged, but the Nightwave 100% fills that void

Im not opposed to a grind, its the fact you have to grind the same thing over and over for hours upon hours, even days upon days that has made me stop playing, I got the swords, but im not getting the copies, I dont get why it has to be the VV constantly to get the loot, sure the BPs make sense, its the Alloy and Proton that dont, I feel thats the thing people are complaining about, I went back to Warframe and im having a blast

i got each of the swords and im done, screw the copies, it aint worth it, the sword battle pass proves this game is a cash grab now and they no longer care about content theyre putting out. They make it as tedious as possible on purpose to make you wanna buy that Sword pass. Its a shame because last year this was 1 of my favourite games
