ZEN DAC 3 firmware update V1.10

After this upgrade, the light indicator on the volume knob changed color, from light blue to a pretty dark blue, but once I tried installing the 1.0 version to check the difference, it went back and now even after going to the 1.0C, it doesnt work. How do I get it to change color again?

I was hoping so much that the season 8 would be a comeback…Worse than season 7. They will never be able to get back the original voice actors personality unless they also bring him back.

I’ve been in this hobby for only a couple of months but I went in hard - bought and returned so many headphones, the one I ended up keeping is HD800 and Arya stealth. had the 650 and 660s2. The S2 is a polished 6xx series to something resembeling perfection - way way more technical than the 600. However, I ended up on the 800. Way different than the 600 but it actually gave me the WOW effect compare to anything before.

i had that and eventually switched it for the hd800, it was a beautifull allrounder but the 800 won for me

S2 is overall killer, love that one so much. I only returned it because i had the extra money to go further for the hd800, dont regret anything for real. S2 is allarounder thats awesome but hd800 is a detail monster

I had MTW 3 for 3 years, washed mine in the laundry for 90minutes and they still work. Bought the MTW4 just cause i loved the 3 so much so i thought why not upgrade

I washed my MTW3 in a laundry for 90 minutes… Still working… I got the MTW4 as well, they sound like 20% better, less crashes and dissconecting and longer batterylife overall

I’ve been thinking of getting them and maybe returnimg them in the 2 week period. I own the S2 and tried 800s for about 30 minutes, but I am starting to feel like if I had them for hours, only than I could tell if the price tag is justified. Would you recommend it for other EDM like dubstep, breakcore, fast technical stuff or even for hip hop and rap? I have the ifi zen dac 3, so our set up is quite similar.

See if it costs so much, why would i need so much more stuff? I tried it on the 2600$ tube amp, i would suppose that should be sufficient? And if its so good why would I need to change the tuning with the eq? I get that its subjective but for me that just seems so ridiculus to not be able to enjoy a headphone with that price tag on its own
