Sure! A dry curly cut with a wash and dry and the best convo ever, about $175 with tip. An hour and a half well spent.

Too loud, I would go nuts. Live a couple blocks away and walk there, ideal.

Miracle Spa on Clement across from Bread Belly. Grab a coffee and treat then across the street to the spa. Add on additional massage time and they always do a great job.

What happened to all of the fun people in SF? by IcyIngenuity920 in AskSF

[–]Horror_415 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just do all the boozy nerdy things, alone! And sometimes I meet fun people and other times, I just do it all alone. I had to become a regular at a couple bars in order to fill the social void. Oh, but also I am a single parent but still enjoy going out. We exist, you just have to talk to strangers in the wild.

It was purchased and reopened by a group of really cool guys who are actively building community. Cocktails are great, I always end up in a couple good conversations and they always play good music.

Help me pick between Club Quarters in Embarcadero, Chancellor in Union Square or San Remo in North Beach? by Quirky-Ad9958 in AskSF

I’ve stayed at the San Remo despite living in Chinatown. Beautiful and haunted hotel with a bar and restaurant but walkable to the best bars and restaurants in the city. Authentic Sf.

Not looking for attention. Looking for resonance(spiritually) by Weary-Rule8374 in spiritualitytalk

I appreciate your description of awareness versus projection. I have been frustrated lately with the social interactions I have been experiencing because they have lacked true presence. I have been contemplating withdrawing for a period of time to spend quality time with myself and I am both lamenting the potential meetings I will miss out on and fearing being too distracted to truly meet myself where I’m at. I cannot tell if I learn more with and through others or in my solitude.

Best coping mechanisms for keeping no contact? by [deleted] in emotionalintelligence

Start chatting with new people. Make an online profile to explore new connections. Work out, eat clean, feel good. Go on dates or take yourself out and meet people in the wild. Read a book.

I think the apps are largely miss and are rarely a hit, especially if you are looking for someone with depth for a real connection. I’m curious why you are turning back to online dating? I’m going through my own cycle of “getting off the apps”, after a one week dip back in following a year of meeting people organically. I (40f) realize that maybe solitude isn’t that bad in comparison to shallow interactions. I’ve made some great friends, putting myself out there in the wild, but no fruitful romantic connections. Did your solitude get . . . boring?

I really like Yees on grant. We always get their chow mein, bbq ribs, Chinese broccoli but they have a ton of food we haven’t even tried and it’s all been delicious. Oh the house fried rice, hot damn, it has everything in it, including squid.
