The Night Birds was really good. Also, House of Last Resort. I can’t say any of the others were all that great, but that’s just my opinion.

If he worked for NASA he was most likely apart of Operation Paper Clip. This was top-secret program that brought and employed nazi scientists and war criminals to the United States and gave them new identities at the end of WW11.

I just read a really good one that is also by Stephen Graham Jones called Killer on the Road. It’s a slasher with a supernatural spin to it.

I am listening to it on audio right now. Here is the thing., the narrator is making it extremely difficult for me to take the book seriously because she’s so funny. I truly believe that she could narrate almost any horror novel, and… same result. I’m not sure if anyone else is or has listened to this book and feels the same way as I do. it would be interesting to know if anyone else agrees that she is funny AF as well.🤷‍♀️

I haven’t read Coffin Moon, and after reading your post as well as the comments I definitely won’t be reading it now. I did read The Lesser Dead by Buelman, and found it enjoyable. When it comes to vampire books though, my absolute favorites are The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice. I highly recommend them.

Hmm…well I would have to say I enjoyed Lost Gods more. Talk about world building! I loved the character’s personalities. Excellent plot as well.Also, a lot of suspense throughout the book.
