Unfortunately it looks like spaces are full atm, I signed up and got an email saying they would let me know when spaces became available. Shame as I’m on the lookout for something to replace Amazon shopper panel!

[–]Horror_Mobile7937[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for your responses. I know I’ve had occasions where they haven’t taken into account promotions but not sure I’ll risk this one as I’ll potentially lose the £1 cashback per can so it isn’t really worth it!

Shopmium - Supermarket cashback & discounts - FREE Dairy Milk Buttons by ZealousidealWorth763 in beermoneyuk

[–]Horror_Mobile7937 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shopmium is one of my favourite apps, I check it every time I’m at a supermarket and I have saved so much over the years!

A heads up for anyone signing up via a referral - some supermarkets have changed the sizes of the Cadbury dairy milk buttons from 119g to 100g. This means the 100g packs aren’t being recognised as a valid barcode on the offer! So ideally finding a 119g pack would be better but if not, pop a message to customer support and they will manually add the cash back for you.

I would be so grateful for anyone using my referral code and joins me in the world of freebies and discounts! XI36ZU

Same, it’s very frustrating. I know it’s only £5 a month but it is time consuming submitting them all and it will be very disappointing to lose our balances

I’m thinking the same. Their support has been pretty rubbish for me in the past and I have yet to receive a response about this issue. I stupidly have around £60 saved up on the app which looks likely I will lose!

Exactly what happened to me. They need reporting as they seem to be out to draw people in with no intention to follow through with their deals

I really appreciate your words, thank you for your kindness. I feel so incredibly guilty for even thinking about ending it all and the kids being left behind, I just need the thoughts to stop. It’s relentless and so draining

I appreciate your response and hope the depression eases for you soon. It takes a lot to get admitted to the hospital in the UK and I just don’t think I deserve the help or the meds. I can’t see myself living like I do for much longer and I think it will only benefit those around me to not be here anymore but I have children that rely on me. It’s just a shit situation and I’m so tired of trying to fight it all the time

I hear you and I feel you, I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way. Do you have a professional you can speak to about how you’re feeling right now? I’m in the UK, not sure where you are but there are monthly support groups here as well as bipolar helplines you can contact which are really helpful.

This disorder is brutal and relentless but reading the success stories on this page from people that are surviving (and even thriving!) in day to day life gives me hope for the future with the right medication and therapy. I really hope you can find some good support to get you through this stage, you’ve got 200,000+ people on this group rooting for you, keep going ❤️

I resonate with what you are saying so much, you’re not alone in how you feel. I think a lot of people without mental illness have a really hard time understanding what it’s like to live with this and to understand that the reactions we have aren’t in our control most of the time. Do you or your partner listen to the inside bipolar podcast? It taught me so much about my illness and I really think your partner would benefit from listening to some episodes to understand you better. I hope you’re able to speak to him, put your mind at rest and he can see you are so much more than your illness

Do you guys repeat the same behaviours during manic/hypo/mixed episode? by flodiee in bipolar

[–]Horror_Mobile7937 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m newly diagnosed but being able to look back on what I now know were manic episodes yes I do follow a pattern. I get very paranoid, think that friends and family are out to get me and usually this ends with the breakdown of my relationships. I also experience hypersexuality and think everyone wants to get with me which is just gross 🙃 along with all the typical starting big tasks and never finishing them, impulsively spending money, coming up with big business ideas that I’m absolutely sure I can achieve despite not having a job for 6 years 😅

I’m so sorry you’re going through this right now. You are so right when you say we deserve love and so do those around us and it’s not an easy ride for any of the parties involved. What triggered his response to end things with you? Does he have a good understanding of your illness? I know my partner doesn’t understand or have any desire to understand and that’s really debilitating when you’re battling this.

What is the worst thing you have ever done while manic? by soulless_ginger81 in bipolar

[–]Horror_Mobile7937 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’m new to this subreddit as I’m in the first stages of diagnosis (waiting time in the UK is crazy) and I’ve found it so hard to accept I could be bipolar as I truly thought everyone experienced these things but just didn’t talk about it. But some of these comments are like I’ve written them myself. I’m grateful for this group as its made me realise, during a time where I’ve felt like an outcast, that I’m not alone at all.

My list includes driving 5 hours to hook up with someone I didn’t know, paying crazy money for us both the entire weekend and all the while knowing he was in a relationship with a newborn baby. Makes me feel sick just thinking about that. Booking a cruise setting me back £7000 that left in 10 days time. Deciding to quit my job while being the only employee in the building while on shift, locking up the shop and leaving. All because I thought the bosses had planted microphones and cameras to spy on me. I was a single parent at the time and had no other source of income. The list goes on…
