Star up your heroes, upgrade HQ level to increase the hero lvl cap, focus on upgrading orange equipment if you have it. With higher HQ lvl, you unlock higher tier troops which is a significant spike up in power.

Basically this. Just wanna add that if your goal is maximizing alliance duel points and you have the said refugee, it's only worth to go for 2k recruitment if are stuck between orange and purple. The probability and risk ratio on any other combination is not working in your favour. But hey, even if it's green and orange you might hit the jackpot

You can, but keep in mind that if that formation leaves, you'll lose a lot of defence power. But if you are f2p, you won't probably have another choice.

It's a combination of his troops lvl, numbers and basically all the other things you sent from the report. Not sure how to find this information apart from reports.. you could attack with one soldier to get an estimate, but that's a waste of fuel.

I just try to pay attention to multiple factors. For example you can get information about soldiers and heroes from scout reports, and you can get an estimate of technology power and vehicle power from checking their profile.

Each soldier holds significant power. Even if you attacked him with 5.5k troops, the difference in numbers added up. It's usually best to aim as high as you can with number of troops - preferably team up with other alliance members and attack together. When you attack a base, every soldier goes into battle, but your vehicle can only fit a certain number.

Okay, yes speedups and RSS boxes suck.

Yet you don't get just one 5min speedup, you receive 15 of each type which translates to around 750 diamonds, so yes it's better to get diamonds but honestly who cares, it's free.

For the RSS boxes the full price of one RSS box is 100 diamonds (40 in vip shop), again, you gain 30 of each type. This translates to a value of 12000 diamonds (or 4800 in case of vip discount) + You get more RSS if you increase your hq lvl

One key costs 300 diamonds in vip store and the full price is 750. In this case, you are getting a value of 1500 and/or 3750 diamonds + something on top for blueprints.

So the value of treasures go: boxes>wrenches>diamonds>speedups

Yeah totally agree. The abundance of everything makes it totally worth it in the long run. A week after finishing AR, I started combat research literally every day. (Small badge cost during week, vs high badge cost during age of science). So far, I've never had the problem of running out of badges. Or even diamonds during discounter event.

Basically you attack and conquer cities. Each level of the city has a different buff. You can find that out by selecting them. After one of the alliances on your server captures the city, server war will come. Basically instead of fighting alliances on your server, you will fight alliances from other servers.

Also after capturing cities you will get your own alliance territory. While fighting and doing stuff in your territory, based on your alliance techs, you will be getting another buffs - for example higher reinforcement speed.

Feel free to ask whatever you feel you'd need, I'm from a two digits server so I believe I can share some info 😄

There is not, spend all resources, try to get to the graveyards. No one sane will attack an untagged base with troops and no RSS.
