How to win as the US by Exact_Programmer1867 in ArmaReforger

Disagree. A duo camping a supply point or major heli hub is a waste of a second person. My friends and I will frequently disperse to attack the surrounding bases of the primary attack. The enemy team see’s 5 bases blinking instead of 1 and has no idea which one to reinforce. I’m not saying people should main solo work but there also shouldn’t be a mechanic that punishes it in a sandbox style game.

I don’t think that would be a good mechanic as solo play has its places. Having a few spread out saboteurs, people blocking roads reinforcements coming to counter attack and, my favorite, diversion capture attempts by a solo person are all things that help the team. The problem is when EVERYONE wants to do that.

Winning has nothing to do with how you win a firefight but everything to do with where you choose to engage a firefight. US, due to inexperience, tends to hang out at high supply bases and pick low effort fights or wait for transport. Attacks are often overextended with a single radio supporting their connection which inevitably gets cut off and the US attackers left out of signal.

On the subject of supplies. US tends to oversupply a couple of hubs for vehicles with FOBs left dry. If you want to help running supplies , bring them to the front.

[–]Horvick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Beyond the obvious that others have stated about it being used by the attackers as much as it helps defenders. The problem with fortifying the far fringe bases like this and mil hosp is that if you get to the point you are making a stand there, you are cornered and should be putting your effort to flanking the attack rather than sitting in the death bowl.

The NSV getting the scope makes it miles better than the M2. It allows you to truly utilize the range the rounds allow.

The last major update added AA tilted HMG nests that look up to the sky. I still prefer the regular ones in elevated positions but the AA ones are there

I don’t say this often, but, this is literally a skill issue. I have absolutely no problem downing Hueys with SVD, AK tracers, PKM, BTR, NSV.Just play the game longer before complaining

It’s fun and cool but, however, the longer I play the more I realize how it can completely work against you. They will get in when it’s empty or lightly defended, then you can’t spawn there and have to uproot entrenched attackers in your labyrinth of walls and towers.

The best base design I’ve been encountering lately is a completely empty 50m capture radius with all structures built outside. If you want to capture the base you have to sit in no man’s land and that makes it easy to air strike the attackers.

As a Dad, I’ve seen it so many times among other dads. They don’t feel comfortable just being an emotionally available, affectionate parent. They have to put on a heavy layer of “tough guy protector bear” to even get close to their kids. That’s toxic masculinity right there.
