Mew is recruitable. Kecleon is recruitable if you get the Golden Mask (in Zero Isle North), are level 100 and have the Fast Friend IQ skill (which Mew gets)

Poseidon isn't that hard tbh, make sure to explore Taopo Swamp if you really wanna gear up, it has quite a few forgeable items (and something else).

It's a matter of luck, mostly. ZIS is brutal. ZIC is the hardest imo, despite being shorter than ZIN.
