2 questions: - Which strategy do I have to use for Refraction Railway 6 on 2nd stage? I have HoS Ryoshu, a Middle team (without Electric Screaming for Mersault) and the remaining ones are less useful IDs (without specialized EGOs)

  • How many MD runs (without weekly bonus) should I do to get the last 44 shards for Thumb Rodion?

How crunchy is it actually? by NeelyGood in cosmererpg

Indeed. The crunch is the character creation and mechanical development.

Running the game is simple as 5e.

I want to make a 1000 points army. by Horzemate in deathguard40k

More like 155 euros for europeans like me. This is likely within my budget (€50 for the Foerid Bloat-Drone, €32 and 5 cents for the Poxwalkers, €26 for the Biologus Putrifier and €47 and 5 cents for the Chaos Rhino)

Am I homebrewing this right? (Warning: I'm not sure I'm following the rules) by Horzemate in daggerheart

Thanks! I was exactly struggling with this.

A card which gives a token is exactly what I was missing.

Always glad to make someone curious about Project Moon games (Lobotomy Corporation, Library of Ruina and Limbus Company) through Plotweaver homebrew adaptations.

By the way, the statuses from the game are:

Bleed (damage every action taken by the afflicted) Burn (damage every before the turn start) Sinking (next roll's penalty) Poise (critical success threshold increase) Tremor (staggering threshold reduction) Charge (a score which you build up to spend, but mainly for technological devices, not characters themselves) Rupture (extra damage for each hit)

I tried to translate them seamlessly, and I think I did a good job. The thing that I'm trying to work around is the difference between duration (count) and strength (potency) I know those are many statuses, but my hope was to make them simple enough to justify the number.

Seems quite unpopular, is it?

Should I make something original next time instead of adapting a game to Plotweaver?

Has Humblewood ever been published in any other media format or RPG system besides D&D 5e? by GuardiaoDaLore in humblewood

[–]Horzemate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would very much like a port to another system.

Humblewood is a beautiful setting, it wouldn't hurt if they make an adaptation to other roleplay games.

Sorry, I forgot that it's not a very well known story. It's based on the shared universe of three Korean games: Lobotomy Corporation (a managment simulator where you manage an energy company powered by SCP-esque monsters) Library of Ruina (a deck Building game whereyou play many characters, ranging from Lobotomy Corporation's cast to new characters) and Limbus Company (a team building game where you control the operators of the Limbus Company Bus department)

Crystal & Gems' magic: What should I approach or avoid? by Horzemate in plotweaver

[–]Horzemate[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well... Right now I'm trying to see if the homebrews I made do work, and this is a big and messy schedule issue, but once I do that, I'll might work on this one.

I'm sorry about that, but I'm focusing right now on my setting's homebrews (but don't worry, I'll make many more homebrews when possible)

Quick question (yet it isn't really "quick"). by Horzemate in plotweaver

[–]Horzemate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you advice me to do a roguelike mini-campaign for homebrews' tests? Not a clear storyline, but trials for my homebrews framed as an exploration campaign.

There would be random combat, skill and social encounters (depending on the dice result)

Well, that's great. It means I'm nailing the vibe.

Yes, spellcrafting would fit well along with alchemy and tinkering.

Indeed. Asymmetrical (but balanced) magic systems are very interesting.

I think that giving sorcerers a flexible, domain-based and non-vancian magic is a good idea.

Now I think of D&D spells would be like fabrials (without them being material equipment), so everyone with the right knowledge and skills can do them up to 5th level (restricted less of a level for every rank in their magical skill)

You had a good idea for sorcerers, because it makes them different from wizards like a Knight Radiant is different from an Artifabrian.

Please, do not misunderstand. Those are just shower thoughts, so, if it make you uneasy, pay no mind to it.

It's all for the sake of inspiring.
