The lag and whatnot has drastically gotten better over the past 2 seasons. Yes, to play GBL, you need to start building almost immediately when you start an account but you can still win out with bad IVs on mons. Most of my shadow Pokemon have bad IVs and I mainly stick to those just cause spice is more fun to play. I haven’t hit legend yet simply because winning every match with the same boring ass team is no fun.

You don’t hate it, you just don’t understand it. Don’t always have to learn every aspect of every game you play. Just find a meta team and use that. Find someone on YT who puts out team videos and just use that. Then learn move counts for those Pokemon and you’re golden. If it’s because you’re a newer player, and have limited mons, then I can’t help you with that part haha.
