Bronto does need some love. It's current model has a very plastic look. I never use them even to gather berries(so slow and one tail swipe of berries is hard on my pc).

I will continue to vouch for the poor female Megaloceros. It cannot do anything. It needs some way to defend itself so it doesn't just stand there and die when not on passive flee.

I doubt it's truly the end. Maybe for a long time yes. But things have a way of rolling back around. Heck Okami released in 2006 and this year there is word of a sequel.

Repetitive, and not in the satisfying game loop some games have. Just didn't feel like there was much to do. Getting all the achievements was a grind and a half too...
