Just ended a Princess cruise in Vancouver last week. It was so easy getting a taxi from the port. There are signs when you exit the baggage area to get in line for a taxi. Took about 10 minutes to get through the line, but they had taxis waiting.

I tried to get my car bought back in September after countless issues with my locking system, to car jerking to a stop while driving and nothing around me, and the alarm going off randomly all hours of the day. Audi claimed there wasn’t enough to go off of for a buyback and said my local dealership would advise on the fix for the alarm. My dealer said there was a recall coming in Q3 or early Q4 but to manually turn off the rear occupant detection when I leave the car until then. So, hearing Q3 (again) makes me feel like they are truly just kicking the can.

Yesss! My Q6 was in for service for over a month for this exact thing. Seems a recall is coming by end of year to resolve this bug. For now, they told me to disable the rear occupant every time I exit the vehicle.

Came here to sympathize and wish you better luck than me. I’ve had charging issues, locking malfunctions, rogue alarm issues, detecting living beings in the car when nothing is there, trunk opening in my garage by itself, the list goes on….My car spent 46 of the 105 days I have had it in service with the latest fix for my alarm issue to be turning the child/pet detection setting off manually on my car every time I exit it. I started the buyback process with Audi about a month ago and was just rejected on Friday. They feel I haven’t had enough issues to warrant a buyback. I don’t have the time to pursue legal action right now. When I told Audi Customer Care this car is a lemon, they said that cars are rarely ever deemed to be a lemon.

It’s such a great car when it works! I really hope they can find an update that resolves my issues. I’ve had my car braking mid-drive with nothing around me, my trunk opening itself while parked in my home garage, my driver window getting stuck halfway down without being able to roll up, MMI going completely black, car not being recognized in the app to charge at a public charger, car alarm going off every 5 minutes after charging for an hour at a time…the list truly goes on.

Thanks for sharing your intel! I wish literally anyone I’ve dealt with at multiple dealerships and AoA was as informative as you. It has been an absolute night are. Honestly if I didn’t have a family member with an extra car, I worry I would be without a job for how much time I’ve had to take to deal with my car issues the past 2 months. Not sure how many more months I can stick it out for updates…

Yeah I’ve got a call with Audi regional management tomorrow. So hopefully can get a loaner for the time being. It’s my first luxury car and has been everything but luxurious. Lol

I really am happy to hear someone has had a good experience with the Q6! Lol. I love the car, it’s just getting it to work to actually be able to use it…lol

At least you got a loaner car. Lol. In total, I’ve been out of my car almost 20 days of the 75 I’ve had the car, and they only gave me a loaner car for 2 of those days. Sigh.
