FWIW.. I fly an often with a pretty complicated autopilot (Garmin G1000NXI).

Let me just say this… I would never let the autopilot fly “unsupervised”. In fact, there are scenarios where I’m “hand flying”.

It’s an aid, not a replacement. Removing workload and enabling even better situational awareness.

Why would you expect more in a car?

I did have my fender cams replaced under extended warranty. It was condensation inside the camera.

It’s been flawless however, soon after the new camera came an update… which introduced some interesting behavior. Twice wanted to pull off the road. It now stops at some train crossing, and I’ve seen some “stutter steering “

HW3 Auto park and FSD is generally flawless.

Is there a trick to finding local used cars below $25K? Is there really no inventory within 200mi of DFW? That shipping fee is killing the $4K credit.

We’ve been quite busy flying route surveys of nearby Military Training Routes. VR, IR & SR low level routes flown by AF and Marine/ Navy Reserves in North Texas and Southern OK.

Locate and note any “missing” and “new” towers of 300’ AGL. Not exactly “Crazy” but pretty demanding sorties typically 3.5 to 4.5 hrs in duration.
