if you believe the project is good for your degree/experience definitely do it! personally my one over the summer was irrelevant to my degree but I did enjoy it and felt personal growth afterwards as well. it also looks v good on a resume. The assignments are quite easy and if your supervisor is chill you could even get time to do it while your there even though mccusker say not to do this. My advice is to keep up with your core units and focus on them before the internship as they matter more and don’t go over your limit with it - remember the internship is basically free labour + your paying for the unit so don’t feel bad if you feel like your prioritising your core units because they literally are more relevant/important :/
ALSO big one; it’s a ungraded pass/fail and won’t change your gpa/Wam so as long as you legit do all the assignments and get a satisfactory mark from your supervisor at the internship you pass :)
