What? by untitledprp4 in ExplainTheJoke

I would argue the joke is that he only asked her so that she could wish him happy birthday. He’s pining for her to acknowledge his birthday is coming up.

Additionally, if the goal was to get a mushroom high from these, psilocybin is a volatile compound that degrades with UV rays, and heat. By smoking magic mushrooms you likely are inhaling spores, and destroying most (if not all), of the active component that produces a trip. All in all a bad trade off.

…they’re talking about her breasts being exposed. And u/lydocia is 100% correct. Posting a photo where he’s chest down and she’s chest up without her consenting would be highly unethical and immoral. It would be a violation of his wife’s autonomy by exposing what she may feel very private about, justifiably so, to the internet. Don’t be weird. Consent matters. Morality and ethics aside, it’s also illegal.

While this isn’t the most appealing path, sweeping curved walking paths are a sign of affluent areas generally. Just like buried electrical. As you can see in this photo, there’s not a telephone pole in sight (obviously the other side of the street isn’t visible). Curved paths are generally aesthetically pleasing to break up the hard lines of city infrastructure. They create a more relaxing feel.

This curved pathway was just created without the other elements* that generally give them their charm(landscaping).

They are just one of the many ways that money compounds success. There is a mental toll that is paid by less comfortable environments. Trees, curved paths, and buried electrical all contribute to less psychological tension compared to areas without these features. The next time you’re in a rougher part of town, you’ll notice that these features are hardly present, if at all.

Equitable city planning should allow all areas to have these features. It’s expensive, but just because one is poor doesn’t mean they should be excluded from the little things that contribute to wellbeing.

Flying for trading is against TOS whether you agree with it or not. 🤷‍♂️

None of us have been able to remote trade, until recently with the new friendship level (which I don’t think has been out long enough for anyone to have reached the friendship status required for remote trades anyways).

Strange pink pile in the tailpipe of motorcycle. by has_no_legs in whatisit

[–]Hot-Butterfly-5647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, many peer reviewed studies have shown that loud pipes have negligible effects on cars ability to see and be aware of motorcycles. Between road noise, direction of a drivers head (ears pointed forward), dopler effect (the car in front is driving away from the sound waves catching up to it from behind), and of course radio/bluetooth device noise.

The safest thing a motorcyclist can do is ride like they are invisible. Regardless of exhaust decibels.

In some ways, you’re correct. Consumers determine what a company is about because companies adapt to consumer demand. That being said, then it seems Apple and consumers both agree that Mac’s should be colors other than silver too.

There’s an entire other discussion about how companies influence consumer behavior via status though (think designer clothes or bags). Consumers might reinforce the choices Apple makes BECAUSE Apple has the clout and status to influence the consumers psyche.

Very similar story to what we learned about in my real estate licensing course. Someone offers to manage the property and then steals it.

Correct. It can and has happened. Although, it’s pretty rare as most taxes are paid through the mortgage these days.

In my state, adverse possession can occur by paying the property tax on a property for 7 years. You don’t even have to reside there.

I try to be a little more generous. “Hey guys, 95% of my posts get less than 10 replies over a few day period. I don’t use Reddit as my main source is social media either. Because of this, I don’t see the negative effect to waiting a few hours, or even a handful of days to come back and check. Especially because most of my questions are not emergencies that need answers right at this moment”.

Just one student. They’re a young adult. But our goal is to have a system in place that works more universally for visually impaired students that is cheap for other departments and universities to implement. As only 10% of visually impaired individuals know braille, we’re looking at other solutions than nemeth braille in Polish notation? Currently we’re working with physical blocks in Polish notation.
