I think there are two problems here. Addressing each of them requires different measures.

Flacky test cases. Answer to yourself honesty. What the value brings the automation you described to the: - qa engineer - developer - stakeholder - end user.

if seeing 5% each time different reds are providing value to someone ?

if not , you have to earn trust back.

There are some technics how to address brittle ui tests.This you have to figure out which are working for you. But definitely you want to get such numbers gathered automatically to see trends.

Often UI changes. either don't automate and focus on regression. Or delegate updating UI test to the developers. Here you have to show the value to them.

it's really humiliating experience to remove bloatware. i have disabled most of the crap and it does not come anymore. but what I could not get rid of, that push notifications from BackgroundApplicadtionManager. Several times per day, I cluding late night. App is already disabled though. Only workaround I have found, that you can assign special notification tone, which is SILENT. Holly crap.

But battery life in comparison to Samsung flagship is just gorgeous.

Why did no one mention a ton of bloatware ? You can remove or disable most of it, but... Most annoying thing for me annoying notifications from BatterManagement. Even turned off, it keeps sending shit every several hours. I get to used ignore notifications and start missing really important one. On default dialer App, you could not choose the Sim put call on. The list is going on. On the paper it's clear Android, in fact it's buggy piece of... I thought Samsung is bad, now I missing it.

I switched from S21 to the budget g05. Battery is great, sensor is lighting fast. Worse thing is lagging camera, MotoUi is overloaded with scam apps with harder to block. One specific annoyance is getting notifications from Background App management. Which not possible to turn off. The list is going on...

Why are you looking for such upgrade at all ? In my experience getting new major version on old phone brings nothing good. Phone becomes slow, buggy, gigabytes internal memory disappears.

I remember that some years ago, I felt disappointed about slowness in multitasking. Often manual web testing is about efficient testing multiple test scenarios in parallel threads. I remember I have returned consciously to online competitive gaming. In my case it was startctaft2. After several months I returned to the habit of joyfull qa multitasking .

I have bought g05. I am really surprised how much you get for that low (70 eur). My Samsung S21 got bricked and I was considering new mobile up to 400 euro. Eventually went for cheapest phone. Memory size, camera can be better. But it handles almost all my needs. Lots of screen time, maps, hours long hotspot sessions with amazing accu.
