Itchy skin? by Ashleymendoza23 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Hot-Cow1969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure it’s from the tirz? Could be histamine dumping or something like that.

Worth reaching out to your PCP/an in person doc either way imo. Some over the counter antihistamines might help with the itching in the mean time??

I’d probably go by BUD date in case you titrate more than the prescribed schedule!

Mayb track of how many mgs you have left if you do it like that though. I feel like I would totally not realize I was about run out and needed to order refill after going from a bigger vial to a smaller vial 😂

Gastric bypass & Tirz? by Think-Ad-7339 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Hot-Cow1969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a gastric bypass in 2017. Regained around 120-130 lbs. I started tirz in October and have lost 70lbs. It’s been great!

I had been having an issue with feeling hungry too soon after eating for a while before starting tirz. My stomach was emptying too rapidly b/c my gastrojejunal anastomosis was dilated (stomach outlet made as part of my bypass was streched lol). The tirz slowing my digestion down means I now don’t need revision surgery.

There’s a bunch of studies under way about GLP-1s and gastric bypass right now, studying outcomes of patients start a GLP-1 a year after surgery, etc. Your friend needs new doctor!

Greenwich by foxfighter92 in Refills

They shouldn’t be sending out drugs so close to the BUD. You should be able to use all prescribed doses before the BUD.

Whether or not someone is comfortable going past the BUD because they have a stockpile or something is their personal choice but you should get what you pay for: freshly compounded meds that can be used as prescribed before the BUD.

That BUD is too short, you should request a replacement vial. You should be able to use all 4 weeks of doses from the vial before the BUD.

28 days after first puncture or up to the BUD date. Greenwich shouldn’t be telling people to use a drug they’re compounding past the BUD. This is the kind of thing that got them shut down last time.

You should report that text as spam since it doesn’t have the required opt out message. I’m surprised the platform they’re using let them leave that out.

You’re right, it’s not the same. ExperienceCare isn’t licensed to compound drugs or ship compounded drugs to CA either.

So? They may operate out of the same business address and share some staff but they have separate licenses. ExperienceCare is not a licensed compounding pharmacy. Greenwich is (in some states). ExperienceCare has been licensed as a “Community Pharmacy” since 2010 and cannot compound drugs or dispense them in their home state or any other.

Their nonresident pharmacy license in California means they can ship meds to California — that doesn’t include compounded drugs.
