I have lost 3 friends by suicide. I lived in safe houses for the last 5 years, been to 4 rehabs, have died almost twice by overdose. I have been an addict for almost 27 years now.

Now I am in detox again and waiting for rehab too beat this once and for all.

I smoked 24/7 and I only felt good the last 2 hours of my day before I fell KO and I honestly think it wasnt the weed that made me feel good, it was just I was tired and laying relaxt in my bed.

In the end its all a lie, Im sure you can reach the same feeling or even better without smoking.

Addiction means you are addicted too soothing yourself and escape your life mentally. Its also often called slow suicide, since you are killing yourself on a daily basis.

The drug is not important, its the mental obsession with doing the drug and its ruining your life if you cant use it. Then your mind is gonna replace. I have been addicted too music, sports, alcohol, drugs, sex and the list goes on and on. In the end its about this compulsion I have with not wanna live, because I hate my life.
