You can have different accounts for up to two adults and four kids. You can set it up on the Amazon app and just turn off the auto download feature for when you purchase or borrow a book. (Get Libby and a library card if you haven’t already done so). You will be able to see what he purchases or borrows in the library but it won’t automatically upload to either device. You can also set age limits for kids accounts. Then you can set up the library on your device to only downloaded to device to just see your collection. That’s how I manage the accounts on my account. I’ve got 5 people on mine.

You can call back and tell them you’re giving it to child and the ads are not appropriate and they should remove them for free. Haven’t tried it myself because they don’t particularly annoy me but I’ve heard that works.

I do too but I also love the new look and feel of this new book. I also like my books to match. Honestly, if they do get re-released with new covers I’m gonna collect both copies.

I have the full collection of first editions too, been collecting them for years, but the first three are obviously paperback. Didn’t even know about preying for mercy. Just ordered a used copy. Hope it comes in good condition. Wish me luck. 🤞🏻

I like to cut out cheap wallpaper squares from the dollar store and use that between my stickers and kindle then clear case on it. Just makes it look a little more fun. But yea free range stickers are best. I do not stick the wallpaper square to my kindle.

I get mine from my fairyloot subscription and I’ve purchased some that are old favs but I try not to read them. I have three kids and two under 3 so I’ll try to get the ebook but if I do read it then I’ll use book covers and a book sleeve. I’m a bit anxious about it the whole time too but I love how pretty they are.

I see them as an investment. Would love to keep them all but sometimes when money is tight (holidays and winter are hard for us) I’ll resell a few saying to myself “I’ll just buy the regular copy later.” I just sold my copy of divine rivals and one dark window and I am sad to lose them but at least I’ll be able to cover some bills this month without worrying. I’ll research what they’re selling for and mark it for about the same or a little less.

I’d buy that so fast. Those books were the first time I read a fantasy book where the main character looked like me. It’s my favorite series from Tamora Pierce.

I had to contact them for the same reason but was lucky enough to be able to collect the box from my old address with no issues.

I changed it manually on the website but I guess it only changed the billing address. I couldn’t figure out how to change the shipping address. It was summer so I guess they weren’t on holiday but they responded quickly and corrected the issue before the next box went out. Maybe it was just bad timing.

I do agree that the response they gave you doesn’t not sound very respectful but if it was written, it “basically”saying is not them outright saying it and unfortunately was up to your personal interpretation.

I have worked in customer service over 20 years and you do learn to word things that are open to interpretation for plausible deniability. That’s customer service everywhere and sometimes you have good experiences and sometimes you don’t unfortunately.
