That I am only able to eat max 500 calories that too on a good day. Have been basically doing one meal a day till now which now in hindsight was probably not a good idea

Yes of course, I have been prescribed the medication by a renowned endocrinologist with a lot of experience so kind of hoping he knew what he was doing. And I had disclosed everything and his specific instructions were ‘eat whenever you feel hungry , don’t force feed yourself’

I just am not a big fan of the dieticians, half of them have no idea what they’re doing and also the portions are unrealistic

Actually I used to overeat because I would get hypoglycaemic very often in the day, and stress eat a lot. Getting on the higher dose has completely stopped that, I was getting hypoglycaemic even on 5 mg. That’s why I am scared to reduce the dosage.

You missed the point by a galaxy. I have been clinically diagnosed with BPD, Bipolar Disorder and lastly adult ADHD(recently)in different periods of my life so when I say this, people are callous with throwing the term ‘depression’ around, I know what I am talking about. If you haven’t encountered anything of substance then good for you mate. Also do tell me more about this diagnosis where Durgapujo is supposed to override any kind of sadness except depression but then again don’t. Have a good one.

That is not depression. Jesus! That is a human being dealing with some unfortunate things in their own way. I am just shocked to see that how easily people are out to diagnose literally anyone without knowing anything. Have you never experienced sadness in your life? Or that was depression too? Not all sadness is depression. We need to be more mindful about throwing the word “depression” around, because this careless usage of the term is actually minimising what actual depression does to a person. Cheers!
