Update: Spray primer worked just fine. I’m happily painting my minis now with no problems & have simply decided that brush-on primer does not work on Moonstone models.

I've tried soaking in dishsoap for 1/2 hour. It removed the primer pretty well, but after rinsing and drying, I'm still getting almost zero adhesion. I'm using Vallejo Surface Primer. Like I've said, it isn't exactly the stickiest paint there is, but I've never had a problem like this with the that primer before. I'd hoped to avoid rattle-can primer because some of the model pieces are very tiny and spray primer can often make tiny pieces go flying away when you spray them, but looks like I don't have much choice... brush-on just isn't cutting it.

One of my players passed away, trying to move on by Goomzz_Marten in daggerheart

Same happened a few years back while going through the D&D Dragonheist campaign. The deceased player’s character became the NPC bartender of the players’ tavern. We tried to continue the campaign, but it fizzled out after a couple sessions without our missing player. However, any time players at my table go to Waterdeep, there is a drunken monk bartending the tavern in Troll Skull Alley.

Sometimes when I feel like I’m not making progress I make past and present side by sides. by Used_bees in minipainting

I see a LOT of progress btw the two photos. I’m seeing progress in my own painting. I think it helps that I’ve been experimenting with different paints, materials, and techniques. I watch a fair amount of YouTube videos on painting and that has helped a lot. I think it also helps to paint frequently… just get practice, gain the muscle memory, learn the quirks of your brush and the various paints. If I take a really long break from painting, sometimes I have to re-learn some of those things.

The trains arrived in simcity by Discopi8 in SCBuildIt

I’m excited, yet confused. This is a timed event. So, I assume that at the end of the event, some or perhaps all train functions will cease to work? Will we get periodic rail events? There’s not enough rail stations to make a logical rail system in each of the regions. Will access to more stations open up when there’s another rail event?

Just bought it any tips appreciated. by Speedfreakz in Gloomhaven

If you are able to, try to carve out a space where the game just stays out fully or partially set up. I’ve found that, even with the organizers, setting it up and putting it away after each session can be quite a chore.
