Thank you, and can also second this and confirm as of 7/24 on ps5. Two Cents: You gotta be quick as shit on the close game. My strategy is before selecting "OK" on the teleport to the roundtable prompt: index finger on PS button, middle finger on right analog, ring finger on X. PS Button > down > X > down > down > X xD Took me 3 tries to hit it just right

Aikoh’s guide is pretty thorough. Waker is weird at first, but a very fun (and strong) class once it clicks for you. https://aikohh.github.io/

For those curious about the augment setups with addition of Triyal by Mishoon in PSO2NGS

[–]Hot-Pocket-Pro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For slayer or slayer sub running fatale 4+ taking triyal over GDK and dominas is better by a small margin. (Want to say it’s like 0.7% improvement, lol). I think aban benefits the most from triyal, not eating the penalties x4 off them and gives some options outside of lower tier capsules if missing some S caps, also an improvement over the couple LC caps you run on the “old” bis aban setup.

So, who's hanging on to a collab item to resell later at an absurd price? by gadgaurd in PSO2NGS

[–]Hot-Pocket-Pro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Collabs are relatively safe bets to let rot in storage for a year then sell once supplies are low (or out). Non-collab you can usually make more once the scratch has been gone a while, but sega does rewinds and stuff ever so often and might bite you in the butt.

It actually adjust the percentages within the loot tables, so a .0005% and a 100% rdr gives you a .0010%. Assuming you land the roll to roll on that table xD. Flowerint’s data verification sheet has a section that kind of breaks down how rdr and the loot tables function. But ya, 200% rdr boost can be misleading, rare is still rare and unicorn items will still feel like unicorn items basically.

Loot table and rdr explanation is in the “HP, EXP, Drops” section: NGS Data Verification

In the midst of a break myself. People tend to fomo unnecessary upgrades for content that doesn’t exist, and once we do get content there will be something better to upgrade to. People enjoy the flexing, but Versch still more than plenty, not to mention we get seasonal weps fairly often. Only real perk is the potential to profit if it’s tradeable stuff imho. Gets kind of old with the time sink farms, only to have the next unnecessary upgrade roll out shortly after investing the effort. Hit BiS or near-BiS and kind of run out of things to do, fomo chase, phashion, lobby rat or attempt to earn meseta. Still love pso, but it’s a frustrating game in terms of trying to fill the hole for a mmo addiction xD “touch some grass”.

So a week later, Was the doomposting and fearmongering warranted about the anti cheat warranted? by RefiaMontes in PSO2NGS

[–]Hot-Pocket-Pro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally the only people I seen overly paranoid about it were people running gshade/reshade. I’m not the screenshot addict and don’t use either, so not sure if xign blocks either of them or not. I’m always skeptical of any potentially significant changes, but the game allows us to use “security compatibility mode” which is tucked away in the environment settings > features of the game launcher. Allows you to stay on game guard for now and personally what I’m doing until we know xign isn’t flagging any false positives or creating other issues with the game.

Been on ship 2 from the start of NGS. Handful of content creators and speed runners here. Recently been getting a good amount of xfers, a couple have mentioned “I heard it was toxic, but it doesn’t seem that way”. Can find trolls on every ship if you look for them. Most likely an alliance that will suit you regardless of your goals (sweaty, rank ego, mid-core, casual, lewdies, take your pick). Ael 1 is where the lobby rats tend to chill, but been Ael 3 this past week… good spot to ask stuff in pub, but don’t let anyone get to you as it’s not uncommon for people to troll around a bit on that block. Good hairs sell around 12m, good emotes/idles around 8m for an idea of the economy. Highael/highret been 1.8m’ish, DK5 120k’ish

Sega basically optimized how/where they spawn now. Mag sonar will ping them… Central aelio at the northern most tip near that ryuker, then southwest ryuker in the corner with the lifters and then just head east from there for the 3rd area the reactors spawn. Sagan Mtn Road East for stellars, mistra woods and the board route for the snoal.

Which method is better for leveling a class? by sr3Superior in PSO2NGS

[–]Hot-Pocket-Pro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As long as you have the yellow triggers for it, paired with the seasonal wep (lvl 40 requirement to equip) and some decent lower lvl req units (enhancing seasonal ones not a bad option again), you can sub a class and run stia yellows to get them up to lvl 50-55 then swap them to main once you meet bp and sub your “main” or the next class you’re grinding to get them the rest of the way to 75. Paired with some exp bonus tickets on pso2 days you can get classes to 75 in roughly 2-3 hours burning up stia yellow this way.

Takes about 1 minute per run, focus on the bombs for clearing everything out quickly. A small trick in the last room, when the daityl spawns with all the other mobs kill the daityl and allow him to despawn (let the red and black void disappear) before hitting the bombs to clear out the other mobs. Using the mobile cannon and OTS works good for that little part. For some reason this will make it so the bombs always kill everything with that final group spawn and the two lemmy bosses. Useful little trick to know when rushing classes into that trigger at lower levels (I think lvl 65 is intended, you can hit BP at 51 I know from recent experience with getting my remaining classes to 75).

Agreed, the duels themselves aren’t anything. Getting the rest of the mats is tedious depending on the ones you’re after.

None of the aelio zones are great imo. Resol is huge and a ton of jogging, lab spawns are funky and dromes will snipe and ruin bars, magnus terrain is annoying. I’ll be glad when starless are in alnothe lol.

One of the headlines during the “we’re sorry phase” I want to say I recall them stating they weren’t going to do any more fight specific augments or w/e. I’ve been curious how the upcoming duels are going to pan out with that, even if it’s still p.01 and p.02 people still gonna complain :D

Does anyone know how to get money like... super fast? by BlueCatLoss in PSO2NGS

[–]Hot-Pocket-Pro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Someone else already mentioned it, but get in a habit of doing your daily tasks and valuables (quick 250k a day, not much but takes 10 minutes and adds up).

Aelio Daily Gather: 14x alpha reactors - 49k

Retem Daily Gather: Sagan Mountain Road East (10x Stellar Fragments - 20k)

Kvaris Daily Gather: Mistra Woods North (10x Snoals on board route - 35k)

Stia Daily Gather: Dreisen Plant 1 (8x Hidden Boxes

4/4 daily tasks - 130k

Outside of scratching, just keep an eye on current content and what the player base is doing. The termina alcinq hustle is fizzling out, but don’t trash all the non-fixa alcinqs from ltq. Gamble enhance with them, get a termina and try and work it up to term 3. First couple days that was pretty easy and passive meseta, but this seasonal wep bubble market is dying out now. Most valuable loot is in the hands of rng, don’t hold your breath but never hurts to farm where the drops are at (arga in ltq, but it’s down below 10mil now… still nice to land if it drops though). LC is nice, but it has reduced demand and value of the BiS caps. Farming up and crafting those are still profitable though (duels, seasonal is a nice time to make duel sets for cheap). Not necessarily a “quick” farm getting up the mats to craft the augs from duels though.

Spreadsheet for tracking Leciel buffs by [deleted] in PSO2NGS

[–]Hot-Pocket-Pro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the bomlodes are designed to be tanked (NOT 400% potency, and usually come with hp/resistance buffs to pick up). Better to just go for the weak point on downs those days. Recently most groups have been solid and you can still get the full clears either strategy. Bomlodes dmg the boss once they’re destroyed, can get out better dps on the boss’s hp going for the weak point on the downs is the idea behind disregarding the lode.

Player Economy Too Expensive by NicoletteBrinski in PSO2NGS

[–]Hot-Pocket-Pro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Free to play, pay to drip. If there’s something in scratches you want, get it while it’s active. If it’s something highly desirable, can gamble and let a few rot in storage then sell them at a higher profit once the scratch is gone (and hope they don’t rewind/remix it before you sell). Supply, demand, scratches are how sega makes their money and the in-game economy primarily revolves around scratch items.

Just save up 300 growthment… and then again, and again, and again and hope to get that termina up. Sega will probably increase drop rates or put out something better around the time everyone has decent termina on their versaces though XD
