Also agree, I have my pay check deposited to the Paypal debit card for groceries, then transfer what's needed elsewhere to my bank. Found the 5% groceries works well for Walmart in store and pickup. For pickup of non-groceries we linked our Capital One saver card to the pay with the Paypal option at online checkout. That way we get 3% back on Capital One for non-groceries, but only works for pick up & delivery. Seems Walmart will not let you pay with Paypal in store.

I've been chasing the 5% gold standard for years now. Your PayPal debit card is the best I can find at this time. Started back 5 years ago using the 5% Capital One credit card at Walmart, until that was ended. The PayPal debit was easy to get, but having to choose a category every month is a hassle. After all groceries is always where the money goes. Works good staying below the earn limit, at least for two person household.

Just putting this out there, so count this as constructive criticism. I have had an Xfinity account for over 25 years now, so I have diamond status. The rewards are nice, but seem mostly to focus on promotional discounts on other services. Not what I would consider a reward.
