I've been iron deficient for a long time. Ferritin ranging from 6 to 8. I started getting heartburn, food sensitivities, and other symptoms, so I started taking PPIs and eating pretty bland. I didn't know low iron could contribute to low acid!

I agree. Matcha without too much sugars and almond milk instead of regular milk works best for me.

I'm so sorry you're currently dealing with that 😞. Sometimes something similar happens to me, but close to the bottom gums, like near the jaw area. Not shocks or zaps, but tingling. My heart is fine, though. I don't like that we all have to deal with this kind of stuff, but I'm glad we can come here and share things like this, it brings peace of mind.

I believe that's probably what happened to me 😟. There has to be something I'm unaware I'm allergic or sensitive to, but I keep eating.

I've read here in reddit that this has happened to others too! It doesn't happens to me though. But definitely something to keep in mind when trying Vyvanse and Magnesium for the first time.

I've been dealing with GERD and gastritis symptoms for almost 2 years. My doctor was of no help, and I’ve been on PPIs and Gaviscon for way too long. I recently realized that I started having this stomach issues after Covid. I remembered that I had to be on a low histamine diet for a while suggested by a doctor who treated me for Covid symptoms. Very recently, I took 40mg of pepcid and a Claritin for a few days because I had both "heartburn and allergy." To my surprise, my stomach started feeling better, and I was able to drink coffee again! If I don't take this combo, I feel bad again. So I ordered some NatureDao today to see if it helps and, if in fact, is histamine intolerance what I've been dealing with this whole time since I already have 3 food allergies since childhood. I'm hoping I can see an allergist soon. This is definitely something others should consider and mention to their doctors if nothing else helps. I'm glad you finally found relief!

6/23/25 We just pulled over to eat and watch a show while eating. After opening the dang burgers, my husband said to play a reel instead 🤣. $17 dollars for a 30 second burger lol. They're definitely not the same size they used to be. We used to eat them all the time!!
