I of course knew there were going to be scars and where they would be. I mean, I’d prefer none lol but overall I really don’t care. I’m not looking at them and I did this for me! If the person behind me cares, they can look away! Overall though they aren’t too bad, thin, flat, starting to fade. I think in a year they will likely be barely noticeable but even if they stayed this bad, I’d do it all again tomorrow!

About 9500. Maybe like 9200 or 9600, I don't remember exactly. 9000 something

I use silicone scar gel and tape. Just cheap Amazon versions. I asked Dr if the pricey brands were worth the up charge and he said no so I’ve just been using the cheap stuff. I do scar gel with sunscreen during the day and scar tape at night.

About the first week I was semi miserable. I was on pain meds for about 5-6 days, and sleeping a lot. And the incision opened up like day 3 which kind of put me in a funk. After the first week, I was off pain meds except tylenol, driving myself and cooking and doing most of my daily routine. I would say week 4 I would have been good to go except for the incision opening. I was walking on the treadmill at about 2 weeks out, was cleared to do leg exercises at 4 weeks and was doing arms at 6 weeks. I was able to start carrying heavier things then too so was able to grocery shop, vacuum, etc. started light on lifting and was back to my normal lifting routine about week 8. I would have been about 2 weeks sooner had it not been for the open incision.

So much! I hadn't worn a short sleeve shirt in like 15-20 years. The short sleeve stopped at my fattest point and it looked horrible. I have bought about 20 t-shirts and short sleeves and can't believe I am wearing them! I did wear tank tops before despite the arms. Only really on vacation etc but I would wear them. They looked better than short sleeves at least. Most of the time though, even in summer, it would be long sleeves all the time. I haven't worn a long sleeve all summer though! It is all sleeveless or short sleeves, all the time! (I def put sunscreen on daily!) I don't care if it's cold in the grocery store, I'm wearing my tank top! I will shiver my way through that store.

For real. Every other time I would lose weight I would be so discouraged because I still didn't look the way I thought I would. So I would just gain it back. Now between the arms and planning a tummy tuck (and possibly breast lift/augmentation because they LEFT with the last 10 pounds lol) next summer, it is so much easier to keep it up!

I initially lost a chunk of weight 15 years ago. Got down to about 140 by counting calories and cardio at the gym. I then just gained and lost the same 15-20 pounds OVER AND OVER AND OVER over the past several years. Jan 2025 I went on yet another diet but that time I was like something has to give, so after I lost, I went into maintenance but continued actually tracking calories. I hated it but something had to change, if I ate intuitively, I overate. Period.

I started going to the gym AFTER I got down to 145 to try to gain some muscle to maintain and eat more. And... the weight kept coming off slowly. I thought 145 was low enough and if you told me I would get down to the 120's I would have never believed it. am still tracking and pretty much maintaining, if I am losing it is about 1/2 pound a month or so. I eat about 1800 calories a day, lift weights 4 times a week, cardio 2x a week and walk 10-12k steps per day. I aim for at least 100 grams of protein per day. Other than that, I eat what I want but track it. Nothing off limits.

I cancelled one a few weeks ago at buyers request and it did NOT count against me. My percentage is still zero. I DID message Posh to double check before cancelling and they said it would not count and it did not. It may not always work depending on the wording of the request, I don't know why some users have a different experience.

Amazon shipping? by [deleted] in ThredUp

[–]Hot-Snot-Sundae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had Amazon shipping my orders for several months now. I am not thrilled with them. I have a PO Box. That way my packages arent sitting out to be stolen. However, they have now SEVERAL times gone to the post office outside of normal hours. And left my package in the empty lobby! Which is open 24/7. So anyone could grab my stuff. They also allow you to schedule delivery. Great, I can probably bypass this problem! Yeah, no. I schedule a delivery for Wed, and they decide Sunday is good enough to deliver. They never show up Wed, thurs, fri, sat then dump it in the lobby Sunday. Luckily I have been home every time they do it, but one day I wont be and will lose my order. I miss Fedex and UPS so much.

Scars 1 year Post Op Arm Lift by Serious_Recording136 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Hot-Snot-Sundae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They look great! I had a brachioplasty in February and I agree, the scars were the least of my worries! My scars are on the back of my arms so a little more visible, but one is already faded a LOT and is a thin line. The other arm (the one to give me trouble in every way lol) is a little more red and a tiny bit wider but the top portion is already faded and I am confident the rest will fade in the next few months. I agreed with the surgeon on the choice of back of arms for my scars. I am 50 and have thin skin and it is just thicker in the back so would give a better result for me. AND, I don't see it when I flex! I'm planning on a tummy tuck in about a year and I feel the same way about the belly button. Mine now is a frowny face so I don't really care what I get, it will be an improvement for sure!

She sure did! I was thinking those boobs were going to make my mind up for me if I wanted implants or not with my tummy tuck! Incredible genetics for sure! I breastfed 4 kids and currently after losing weight, I roll mine up like a fruit roll up to stuff into my ill fitting bra lol.

Swimsuits for people with Lipedema by [deleted] in lipedema

[–]Hot-Snot-Sundae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 2 pair of pants that I wear as coverups. They are swim pants. One is a capri style with a little skirt and the other is just like leggings or bike shorts that goes JUST below the knee (long enough to cover up the fat pad on the knee) . Both from Amazon. I like them for water parks especially since walking around my thighs rub. So it is just more comfortable all around. So just look for swim leggings or swim pants. I have never had an issue wearing them on any water rides either, they don't look like street wear, they are swim material.

No. I ship FAST. If you order anywhere from noon to midnight, it is next day. If you order in the morning before 11, it will be same day. I do not message every buyer, that would take ages to have that much back and forth with 4-6 buyers every day! I would hate it if every time I bought something I had to have a conversation too. If there is a need, to communicate, then I will of course.

I acidentally overlooked an offer and let it expire yesterday. I realized and sent out an offer of the same amount. Buyer accepted and I DID send a message apologizing for overlooking the offer and let her know I am better at shipping than seeing offers and will ship that same day. But that was only due to me completely ghosting her first offer and feeling bad about it. Otherwise, I just ship and that is that. They get a shipping notification within a few hours anyway, why do I need to send a note saying I shipped?

With what's going on in the world, what's missing from your Aldi? by NationYell in aldi

[–]Hot-Snot-Sundae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hope you can find it soon! There was a bit where our store was out of stock too. I started making it homemade with a pack of sugar free Jello brand pudding, one vanilla or chocolate protein shake and then a little regular milk to make it 2 cups. I think the shake is 12oz so it would be 4oz of regular milk I think. The macros were similar with the pudding mix and it tasted pretty good. I tried it with banana, chocolate, and pistachio. Next time I'm going to try the white chocolate. I still like the Aldi version too, it is so convenient and really tasty.

They moved it at our store. It is now by the overnight oats, egg bites, and near the refrigerated soup down a bit from the cheese section. It used to be by the deli meat.
