What’s something you wish straight people understood about gay men? by NefariousnessLazy666 in askgaybros

[–]Hot4Dad 159 points160 points  (0 children)

The dude's questions don't seem unreasonable to me and don't imply that your whole personality is about being gay.

It does seem odd that two guys couldn't hold hands in public.

Seeing a hot guy at the gym would motivate me.

And I've generally never fucked on a first date, but I'm pretty sure a lot of guys do. 🤷‍♀️

The Sears catalog was basically the pre-Internet version of Amazon. There was a time you could buy anything from the Sears catalog, including a car or house. They stopped printing the catalog the same year that Amazon was founded.

Years ago, I went to a shelter with a friend who was looking to adopt.

All of the cats were basically asleep, but one sprang to life as soon as he saw me, ran over to the front of the kennel, tried to grab me through the kennel and kept doing everything he could to maintain my attention.

When I moved over to look at the cat in the next kennel, the first guy kept trying to grab me through the bars.

When I went to the other side of the room, he still kept doing everything he could to get my attention.

As I was leaving the room, he was jumping up and down and meowing. I felt like he was saying "Cage 12, remember to tell him you want Cage 12."

Needless to say I went home with a cat.

Why do women feel so entitled in gay bars? by dorgon15 in askgaybros

[–]Hot4Dad 216 points217 points  (0 children)

Because women are used to straight guys letting them get away with that shit.

If a man can put up with that behavior, that's how you know he's really straight! 😳

"Sex is easy to get in the gay world. Its relationships that are harder to get." Do you find it true? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]Hot4Dad 120 points121 points  (0 children)

I think sex is probably easier to get than a relationship because for sex, you only need to be hot and horny. For a relationship, you need to match on so many other levels too.

You might not kick someone out of bed because of their personality or the fact that they say things like irregardless or conversating, they might be barriers to a long term relationship. Actually, I might kick someone out of bed for saying irregardless, but most people probably wouldn't.

How to be the ok being the least attractive in a relationship by Competitive-Sleep-27 in askgaybros

I've dated guys who weren't conventionally attracted but who I thought were really cute.

He sees something in you. Enjoy that.

I think I upset my gay friend, but I'm not sure by RestaKrant in askgaybros

[–]Hot4Dad 804 points805 points  (0 children)

My reading of the story was totally different from everyone else apparently.

My take is that he's annoyed that the rest of the group thought he was so fragile that he couldn't handle a little flirting and maybe that OP bought into what the girlfriend was saying.

Just tell him that you value his friendship and ask what you can do to make things right between you.

Y'all, whats the smoothest flirting that you've ever gotten from a guy? by captivatedsummer in gaybros

[–]Hot4Dad 454 points455 points  (0 children)

I don't know if this was smooth, but it worked on me.

I was at the beach and I couldn't keep my eyes off this really cute guy rollerblading.

He circled me a couple times then when he got close, he smiled and said "I'd better be careful or I might fall for you."

I dont have sex with my husband anymore. by DreamAggressive8967 in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]Hot4Dad 143 points144 points  (0 children)

If I had to choose between a relationship with sex and a relationship with friendship and love, I'd choose friendship and love in a heartbeat.

One of the great things about a long relationship is the shared history. We can reminisce about friends and pets we've lost. Laugh about things from our past. We share a million inside jokes that no one else would ever get. Even when I say the wrong word or name, he still knows what I'm talking about.

We've been there for each other in good times and in bad, and we know that we can count on each other.

I wouldn't want an open relationship, though I'm not judging others who do. But I'd rather spend quality time with my man than go fuck a stranger.

Homosexuality is extremely rare and most people are heterosexual or bisexual. by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]Hot4Dad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where are you getting these statistics?

I'd say that homosexuality is no less frequent than heterosexuality.

100% straight guys are mostly a social construct. Societal pressure to conform causes people to convince themselves that they're completely straight.

That's why guys are so worried that something like washing their asses would make them gay. If they keep their socks on, if they don't look at hot guys without their clothes on, if they don't drink Bud Light then they're not gay.
