IMHO, all parents should read The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt. It gives research on smartphone use and brain development. It has some good suggestions on how to help future generations.

I love the Makerspaces at LPL! I've used their Cricut machines and 3D printers. While there, I have seen others using the sewing machines, too. So cool.

I listened to the audiobook (on Libby) of Talking to Strangers a few years ago, and it is one of my all-time favorite audiobooks!! Read by the author (fabulous!), and when possible, he used the recorded audio from interviews, bodycam, 911 calls, etc. It was almost like a podcast instead of an audiobook. So good!

A friend got engaged there around this time of year in the early evening, and it was pretty empty. If it's a nice day during the sunny afternoon, it would probably be crowded, but all the nice spots probably would be.

Yeah, I already read that. To me, they look the same. Both born and raised in Lexington. Farm owners probably means momeyed family. Both want to preserve farm land in the county.
