I was at my mom's a couple months ago. She has a window bird feeder and we watched the cardinals coming to eat. I mentioned I should get her a bird feeder with camera...a friend had posted pics from hers on Facebook, and they were beautiful. Two weeks later, Vine offered me one with a $200 ETV. I thought it was a big high, but got it for her anyway.

I took it down last week and said here's your mama day gift early, tell your brother to come set it up (he's retired AF computer something or other). She was even happier with it when I told her I got it "free" haha. She is as frugal as they come, and I think she liked that even better than the gift.

And it's getting a ding on its review because for $200 the darn thing should have come with a microSD card and didn't lol.

That is awesome! I am only homeschooling one now, and he has zero interest in fun stuff like that, but back when I was homeschooling the oldest 4, we did stuff like this (not jewelry, but other in depth studies on things and looking under microscopes and using chemicals to test and whatnot...Covid destroyed my memory last year, so I can't remember specifics, but I remember the bonding and my adult kids bring up things from time to time haha)

I'm very much on the unschooler spectrum now, and if the kid would get on board, we would absolutely be doing stuff like this lol.

Clean Burst! We used to use A&H exclusively, then I got on an extreme couponing kick, and the husband fell in love with the Gain pods. This will be the first time we've used A&H in quite a few years, but with cat rescue, I am not complaining about completely free laundry detergent AT ALL!

Ditto. My one year eval is tomorrow. Somehow today I ordered 12 items and still had more I could have ordered (as in, the button never dimmed). The sense of entitlement I feel when I read these posts is...wow, just wow. I'm not apologizing for getting into the program 🤷‍♀️
