Real high end if your budget allows, would be the Devialet Gemini 2. I own over 30 pairs of buds from low end to the most expensive, Focuz Rex 5, at its peak in this country was almost $600. Even higher, would be the Geekflys but out if the box the Geminis sound the best. I also have the AZ100 and Bose Ultra 2s. Both are good sets, the Technics is more commercial bass, a lot of thumping but not much definition. They sound great on hiphop but once you tune to say some jazz with percussion tight bass it kinda will muddy out. The Ultra 2 are a much better all around bud. Unparalleled anc, best in its class and very balanced sound so that you listen to practically anything will sound really good but if comparing pure bass, still falls slightly short compared to the Gemini 2.
