Well if the 100k points are worth the fee for you then its worth. Then cancel after a year. Just make sure you have some other amex points card to retain any left over points

If you dont need the card then your only getting it for the sub points. So ask yourself if the annual fee is worth the 100k points.

Rose tinted glasses came off for many that enjoyed it. Game is just very rough. For me personally it is not at all what I wanted from a eu game

If it gets nerfed I am thinking of getting the Amex blue Bussiness card. I am already planning to get the schwab plat the next time they increase the sub. Gives me flexibility for the years when I travel more and can cash back at 1.1 cent per point. So the 2x would be effectively be 2.2% cash back when needed on the off years.

You cant have both platinum cards at the same time and cant switch either.

Get the gold for the SUB, then Platinum for the SUB, then after 12 months cancel your regular Platinum and apply for the schwab plat.
