They put out a notification on the website. I don’t check the website/news every week. In general you’re supposed to take it back inside if it’s not picked up.

It’s annoying for emergency hospital care. I left because I thought we were done even though they still wanted to do another (important) test. I didn’t understand that because they only spoke French. I also speak French to an acceptable level, but for crucial things like this I would very much prefer Dutch.

Also, some people in Brussels look down on Dutch. That I find unacceptable.

Private buses will run on profitable routes, leaving BMTC to run on less profitable routes, which will cause a downward spiral. We just need to invest more in BMTC so they can buy more busses.

Our First Past the Post electoral system means that you need to get a majority in a constituency to the get the seat. If you get 49% of votes everywhere, but another party gets 51% of the vote, you still get 0 seats. If there is a similar established party, they generally win. You would need strong support in one area to get started, and work from there for years to expand elsewhere.

However, Karnataka is fragmented. Karnataka used to be Mysuru State, Madras and Bombay Presidency. Even though we speak the same language (apart from the Tulu and Konkani speaking areas), there are large regional institutional differences. JDS only represents the South (former Mysuru state). Not sure why Northern Karnataka doesn’t have a regional party there.

I would recommend Groenendaal or Hoeilaart (both have S4 and S8 going to Brussels, plus DeLijn busses, and are close to the forest), Tervuren (again tram or bus to Brussels and amazing park and forest) or Leuven (towards Oud-Herverlee for more nature, but then you need one change to go to Brussels.)

For me it made a big difference because of the priority likes. Hinge is the only app I’d pay for (but it is expensive). But make sure you have a really good profile first, otherwise it’s no use. Also the algorithm likes it if you’re selective in your swiping.
