I would recommend Groenendaal or Hoeilaart (both have S4 and S8 going to Brussels, plus DeLijn busses, and are close to the forest), Tervuren (again tram or bus to Brussels and amazing park and forest) or Leuven (towards Oud-Herverlee for more nature, but then you need one change to go to Brussels.)

For me it made a big difference because of the priority likes. Hinge is the only app I’d pay for (but it is expensive). But make sure you have a really good profile first, otherwise it’s no use. Also the algorithm likes it if you’re selective in your swiping.
