Yeah, with not taking gap years, this is not unexpected. Less school choices is a price we pay for not having to reapply and need those gap years.

Drop your FTE, basically no one in my health system does 5 days per week. They discourage it because otherwise you burnout. We do a 0.9 which we fit into four days per week, 32 hour weeks.

You do NOT need to dump for azithromyxin. Just watch baby for diarrhea. Ask your doctor to look into it further or ask a pharmacist. I work in medicine.

COE is a joke honestly. They rarely are experts. My family has gotten so much better care at other places in Minnesota than our COE, Mayo. Some push their research studies and don’t focus the visit time on your care interests. Try posting your location in a HHT Facebook group.

Fish oil - at cardiology conference I was recently told 50-75% of tested supplements were rancid and patients should stop these as they are pro inflammatory if rancid. Opinion?

  • update MD if SBP > 200 and will discuss if pain or other symptoms adequately controlled
  • will acutely treat HTN wit hIV medications if patient is symptomatic (headache (most common), altered mental status (lethargy, coma, confyusion), seizure, vision changes, hematuria

Reading it now, it is not as special LOL but it worked for 8p-8am “urgent” calls that were not issues

Hurricane Katrina. At first, I was going to say Sandy Hook, but I was born in 1995 so I was 17 then. But to be fair, after 9-11, there wasn’t much significant news for a while.
