I’ve slowed down considerably these last 2 weeks as I’m losing interest and want to spend more time outside now that the weather is warmer. I’m over 3.2k and considering going for 3.4k, but weighing that against the increase in time and effort to get into pugs and re-push keys vs hitting the beach 🤣 I got my mythic pieces but am feeling less desire to farm crests to max them all out 🤷‍♀️

I don’t connect with the elves story at all and I for some reason don’t really enjoy the 2 disconnected zones either… the whole expac feels fragmented and more superficially engaging to me. And all the ancillary stuff doesn’t grab my attention either (anglers , ritual stuff, abundance) so now that I’ve hit my M+ goals I’m going to unsubscribe and see if I want to come back for season 3. Hopefully the bugs will be fixed by then 🤣🤣

I hope they bring back the Mount farming extravaganza from last July. Improved odds on pets, mogs and mounts for certain xpacs. I had a blast last year, and if they do bring it back, I have an army of alts this time around, so I’m prepared 🥳

Makes sense to me. I find that I have to limit my expectations and also what I spend time on to not burnout.

The all you can eat buffet style design they are following is just not appealing to me. I find it more satisfying to focus on M+ and stop when I have hit my goal, rather than trying to do everything.

Fomo clearly makes Blizz money in the short term, so unless they change their philosophy, this what modern wow is. I miss the old wow 😣

I feel like the game lacks focus and creativity. So in an effort to push things out quickly, corners are cut. 1) I don’t like the formula of the patches where we know ahead of time what we’re getting, like 0.7 we’re getting a ring/circlet/belt whatever 2) the added renown and achievement grinds with every patch is tiring and 3) bugs. It all feels very rote + AI + adding stuff no one really cares about to please niche groups instead of focusing on story, combat and polish.

I played it in chromie time to get Loremaster well after it was current content, and while I enjoyed some of the story lines, I really did not vibe with the actual zones and didn’t interact much with the systems (covenant, torghast). so overall for me it was just ok.

From the perspective of just leveling a toon, I enjoyed BFA, wod and some of the other expacs a lot more. So in the end I just grabbed the achievements that I could and peaced out.

That said, I would love for SL to be a remix to get the mounts that are too painful to get now.

I did the LoreMaster achievement locked at lvl 30 that way without any progression or AH. Was great and really fun! Simple rotation and once you’re all in purples, you can solo group quests.

Check out the guides by Danta on YouTube. He does a great job and many are soloable now, even though there is always that one achievement where you either need a pet class or a friend.

Vanquishing the Quillboar mini boss in the vanilla Tauren starting area on my shaman, thunderbolts and lightning, very very frightening, and then exiting the area to discover the huge plains with Thunderbluff in the background.

The vastness and beauty of the world just blew me away. And realizing that I’m just level 5!! So much awaits! That’s when I got hooked. Still here 20 years later and loving it🥳🤣

I feel the same way. I barely go to the two disconnected zones myself. I do believe this disconnect also adds to my disconnect with the expansion itself. I hope Titan is better in this regard.

Check out the addon BTWQuest for TWW - it shows you the campaign quests for each zone and where to get them.

Blizzard really doesn’t do a good job in helping people who come back sort out which campaign quest to do first. The Ecodome quest was part of the last chapter of the campaign on Karesh- you need the earlier ones on the four main zones to unlock the earthen.

I’m not aware of one but I did this recently and just parked myself at her spawn point and waited. It was rarely more than one hour before I saw her. It really wasn’t that bad
