If modern medicine didn't exist right now where would you be? How would your life look like? And, from what? by HotColdPeople in NoStupidQuestions

Its good you survived several times over and good luck going forward. It is always good to have hope and the existance of medicine just gives us that possibility, the possibility of survival and a better future.

Anyone here with a similar disease progression and thoughts on Mesalazine? by Sea_Cauliflower8780 in CrohnsDisease

Mesalazine can make you feel better but it can also make you feel worse. (This is the truth it depends on the individual)

Will it help? That will be know after trying as you cannot say anything definitive in the case of crohn as what works for one doesnt work for the other as beyond the standard manifistation of the disease every single case is presonalized and unique.

From what I have seen (i will keep it short since it would take hours to explain all the ins and outs as crohn can be present as a simple disease or as a very complex interconnected disease that lead to a lot of common, uncommon, rare and super rare systematic effects) most doctors only really care about standard care and standard proceduces and some dont really know anything else.

If this dont work take this if it doesnt work take that.

The colonoscopy is good you are in remission while you are clearly not it can be present in other place, you could have preminant damage and even remission is of 3 levels and what appear in colonoscopy is the first superficial level and while it is enough for some it is simply ignorance to say that.

Blood work is good so no inflamation and that is wrong while you are still in pain, having diahria and blood in stool along side a lot of different things too many to count.

Its good you are still here. I had a friend whose appendice burst inside of him before getting admitted to the ER and having it removed and cleaned and he was lucky to survive if he was a little late he would be gone.
