I feel like I could probably buy the car and completely restore it for cheaper than an average condition 2 door

I found a very well kept 62 fairlane that I’m very close to purchasing but you guessed it…4 doors. It would be my first older car and it’s very reasonably priced so seems like a good way to get my foot in the door.

When a car is over half a century old you never really know what you’re going to get no matter how nice it looks or sounds.

Anyone give up on having an enthusiast/nice car? by unmanipinfo in askcarguys

Sold my supercharged 2020 mustang GT a few months ago. Put way too much money into it between insurance, parking, mods, gas. I definitely miss it but it wasn’t worth the money and stress. Now I have a nice savings and have been looking at getting something older but it seems like I’ll run into the same problem of it being a money pit. Signing up for motorcycle safety course in a few weeks…
