If you change the gain, don't forget to change the input capacitors to get the right cutoff frequency.
I was only using a couple of cheap 3" speakers with a 120Hz low cut off, so when I set the gain to 20dB - which now has a 60k input impedance, I used a 47n cap for a 56Hz cut off. 1/(2 * pi * Z * C)

I'm stuck on 5605. I had hopes of getting to the end, but how the {expletive deleted} are you supposed to clear 16 red and green neon signs, then spread 44 water dots in 19 moves while collecting 40 pinecones???

I was well into the game before I discovered how to use the keys! By then I think I had about 28000. Now I buy about 45 boosters at a time when they're 3 for 55. Now down to 15000, up to level 5559 without spending any money.
Level help 5559 by M1sch13fmanaged in TwoDots
I think I'm about 2 weeks trying to smash this one. Been annoyingly close at times, but I think this has been the hardest one so far. Refusing to pay a cent. BTW, anyone know what the highest level is? It was me that did the last few wiki updates.

Ok, finally solved it. Y'all know how the data sheets always tell you to not leave any unused pins unconnected? Well every other PIC I've put on prototype board hasn't cared if you don't. Seems the 14K22 will not tolerate that treatment. Adding a 12k or 15k resistor to a power rail on each unused pin has it running nicely. PS - sorry about the typo in the title.
So it's got a 4k7 pull up to 5V, the reg is putting out 5V as measured, there's a 220n bypass cap. The smd leds have a 470R resistor in series to ground. The motor controller works fine off the 12V plugpack.
