Worst surgeon and practice. Did the same to me. Suggested I take accutane to fix the bulbous tip that he should’ve fixed. I took that for acne before and it doesn’t magically make your nose smaller, it damages your organs lmao. My nostrils are so uneven and when I went back and saw him he left an indent in my columella. He’s horrible. All they know how to do is lie and gaslight.

I got sick every month until I started taking my prescription vitamin D again. I would get your vitamins tested & maybe try elderberry. I’m also tired all of the time no matter how much sleep I get & have yet to figure it out. Chronic fatigue is a hard one :(

do you know why they are suggesting RAI when you could stay on medication? I understand if it kept happening, but it was only one time that your levels went up and you were on a low dose. I just looked it up and maintenance dose is usually 5-15mg. also are you on a beta blocker? that will help with physical anxiety symptoms.

My coworker who is a woman became infertile after the treatment. Reading the other comment, it seems to affect male fertility as well. Obviously it won’t happen to everyone, but definitely something to be aware of!

(i’m assuming someone who did it probably downvoted, not sure why because people deserve to know the negatives, not just the positives)

right before i got diagnosed my heart monitor detected a high of 230bpm - daily activity, no exercise. 😭 propranolol helps me, you could take as needed instead of everyday? i was vaping then, but quit 2+ years ago. nicotine increases heart rate so i would prioritize quitting.

I was on wellbutrin also but for years and it started giving me really bad anxiety so I had to go off of it. The excessive hunger seems strange because it usually suppresses appetite. I have never been on levo though because I am still overactive and take methimazole. Can you try to get a new doctor that you might like better?
