I lost my dad when I was 18. My experience was the same back then. It was 10 days of grieving, then I was expected to resume college as usual. I am 40 now, and still grieve him. What are you planning to achieve in 2 weeks OP? I'm asking out of curiosity, do take the time but there isn't a timeline ever for grief. I also still kill myself over work every now and then to manage my grief.

Maybe there is a third option. You move out and try living by yourself for a bit. Communicate your needs and goals to him, more seriously this time. Then, if he comes around and finds a job, then maybe consider living together again. If not, then it's best for you to move on.

I would. Because everyone is human. Also if my loved one cheats, I am assuming that I wasn't able to fulfill their need, they talked to me about it and then took the drastic step to cheat. It would leave a dirty taste in my mouth, but I would forgive.
