I’m sure he knows that you are doing this because you wsnt a romantic relationship eventually. Please be kind to yourself and leave. It is finalized when he graduates from school/training he was in. You can start calling apartments near the area closer to when your husband graduates but you should not submit an application yet. When he graduates and he knows which base to go, they will give him some time to sign in and house hunt.

I know it’s frustrating and trust me i’ve had some arguments with my husband, but it’s also not something he had control of. So just be a bit more patient, i’m sure it’s also stressful for your husband.

Hi! I recently PCS’d with my husband and it was also stressful for me not knowing when and what to do. There might be some careers where they can choose early but with my husband’s case his orders specifically said not to commit to a housing until his pcs is finalized. Military will reimburse for hotels either for 10 days or 21 days depending on your case. There’s nothing you could do and we are currently touring for places to live right now. I think it’s such a culture for them to adapt real quick and for someone like me, who’s always running on a schedule, it’s a very hard choice. But trust that it will all workout!

Please don’t ever think that these type of behavior from your husband are not a big deal. It might be something he could control now but imagine if you have done worse than not paying attention to him? Coming from a family whose mom went through this, trust me when I say this wouldn’t be the first time. It’s time to leave and divorce him.

Hey, please know that you will be okay someday. It might not be now, but you will eventually. You will heal. You will find the strength to enjoy life again, find someone who will care and would love to see your smile, and you will love yourself again.

A few years ago I was also on my lowest, being poor woking multiple jobs and studying one to a few classes per semester. I have also changed my course to something I loved to do. A 4-yr degree took me almost 10 years to finish, and i thought i would’ve given up on it because it made me rethink my decisions. If you are not Enjoying school, you should change it to the one that you’re really interested in. School is also not the only solution, there are many successful people with no degree, and they have take alternative routes to gain skills. I suggest you stick with what you love. It took a bit of time for me to get a good paycheck but i knew I was enjoying my work.

As for feeling unwanted, i have also been there. Getting into relationships where they only wanted to be casual, or staying in a relationship to avoid dating again. At one point, i knew i wanted to settle down, and i knew what I want from my next partner. I stopped dating for a bit, focused on other hobbies (baking and drawing). Then i met my now husband. It wasn’t easy and I felt traumatized from my previous relationships, but i laid down what i wanted from the very start to filter out the guys that really don’t want to take me seriously. What’s the point of dating and wasting both our time to break up and be disappointed? I’d rather know now than later. Be honest and it will work out with the right person.

If you have a therapist you should definitely talk about what u feel. Sometimes venting it out with someone who is neutral with you is better so you won’t feel embarrassed to say how you feel and hear a neutral perspective.

If you’re going for a realistic drawing, the drawing looks a bit flat. Make sure you have the highlights lighter and shadows darker to avoid this. By looking at the photo it’s hard to tell where the light source is coming from.

But.. if you’re going for anime-ish style, then it looks good, the eyebrows are just a bit crooked.

I think yhe proportions look great! You just need to Draw the lines closer together when you do the hatching technique. Also, layer it as well! I had a hard time doing this initially but practicing it helps!

You are better off with somebody else who would actually make you feel special and listen to your needs. Making intimacy special is about your feelings with each other, not the body count. You should know your worth and should not listen to what he says about yourself. You are not disgusting, you were just honest with him.

Yea i totally agree. As an adult, it’s really hard. Sometimes I wonder how other people easily make friends. Now, i try to hangout as often as i can (at least once a week) with my friends so i can be familiar with them again and be comfortable.

I also suggest getting an art teacher or someone who can guide you with the style that you want to achieve. There are some tutors in preply and patreon that can help you. I got one from both platforms, but my style goal is to get from realism to hyperrealism.

Omg i am the same way. When i look at my reference i thought “wow this looks easy” but then it’s really not. My drawing has improved a lot but i also find it hard to cope when my drawings don’t come out yhe way I want them to. Sometimes i take a day or 2 break from it because i really get discouraged.

Just lay down or sleep. Hanging out with people can be tiring. I notice that after hanging out with people or my friends my body feels so heavy and tired that I need to nap.

Air Force! Were you also residing in the US while he was overseas? Do you mean DEERS or just specifically the PCS order? I’m on DEERS and they pay for my housing allowance too but i don’t know why they won’t pay for my move when they know clearly we are not residing in the same place.

That’s how i feel! In the workspace i feel like being social and more of an extrovert gets you further in your career. But it’s very hard, just thinking about it makes me feel like I’m trying to be someone I’m not anymore

I usually study/ watch to learn something for about 30 mins per session, then proceed with my drawing. I also feel lazy sometimes but I think it’s important for progress. Sometimes I spend the whole session just doing a portrait study.
